Is Akeem Jackson out for the rest of the year? Is Mcgrue not one of our RBs for the playoffs?

Fritz has indeed played LB all day so far while Micah Hackett hasn't played at all from what I can tell.

To answer SW66, I have no confirmation on this but, judging by Akeem Jackson's cast, I think he's done for the season.

Update:  Hackett in at LB now as we start Q4.

I think Jonel read some of our posts on here... 10 catches for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns :o

If the UMHB staff is ever planning on coming up with a cohrent gameplan on offense, this coming week is the time. The "playing not to lose" approach worked fine against vastly inferior foes in the first two rounds, but this strategy of bumbling around on offense until superior talent takes over won't get us beyond next week

Bet we didnt have 20 yards rushing until Bowden ran late in the game.

If you saw the game notes from this week, Wednesday or Thursday, it showed Fritz as playing LB. it was expected.

The initial word was he may be available late in the postseason. I haven't heard anything recently.

Great win for the Cru
I wish we could have given yall a better game, but... you got to play Great and mistake free against the best.
I sure hope yall stay healthy and win the rest of the games, again :)

You got that right...there aren't  any Redlands or Huntingdon left going forward.

I have the faith the Cru will adjust to what needs to be done. UWW is a very worthy opponent to have concerns about, we have had mixed results over the years, One close 1 point loss and a victory, but I'm still behind the Cru. We will see come Saturday, as we found out against HSU, it takes one.

And speaking about that, does anyone have any insight as to why during HSU the Cru were using boards to signal the plays, and no other time against any opposition this season they have done the same? Just...curious

I think it was because our former quarterback, Kyle Jones, was their starting QB in that game.  He would have been familiar with play calls. That is my guess. :)

I agree. They've made adjustments along the way. I would have liked to see our run game improve, but I guess the defense was loading the box. Did anyone notice this? I tried to spot this, but I never felt like the box was loaded. Perhaps they were "run blitzing"?

Anyways, I think our D is up to the challenge and that our O can do enough.
