For anyone interested Jon Wallin was interview by a Milwaukee based sports radio show. You can find it at https://1057fmthefan.radio.com/media/audio-channel/college-sports-show-1 and it starts at the minute 51 mark.

UMHB and the over, according to Hansen:https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28230700/the-most-important-question-college-football-conference-championship-game

Cool seeing the DIII shout out on ESPN. For all their recent misses, grabbing Connelly was a great move.

I think this game comes down to a final drive and possibly a FG for the win.

Ralph Turner

What a deflating last series of the half.

With 1st and 10 on the UWW 32, I would have played for the FG.  UWW just destroyed the UMHB O-line and got FOUR sacks!

Ron Boerger

UMHB plain did not look good on offense in the first half with the exception of the one short drive.   And ending the half allowing basically four straight sacks - what a waste of that field position.   Gonna have to play better in the second half to advance.

The defense is going to have to stiffen if UMHB is going to win. I'm not sure if this Mickey Mouse offense is going to be able to score more than 7-10 points in the second half.

After the sacks, UMHB with 16 yards offense in the first half.   Cru with 8:34 possession in the first 30 minutes is asking an *awful* lot of the defense.

Ugh, they could have just run Duncan up the middle and tied the game...

Congrats to Whitewater. It's been a long time since I've seen UMHB get pushed around like this. UWW was clearly the tougher, more physical team. The staff needs to show the footage of this game to our OL to show them what blocking looks like.

Hopefully this will light a fire under the Crusaders for next year, and help the coaches realize that the 1972 offensive philosophy of trying to score 10 points, and hoping the defense can hold the opponent to less, isn't an effective one. When you have zero running game, you're not going to beat many good teams. Solid year, but an embarrassing ending.

Better team won today. Game felt a lot like the HSU game and we were lucky to escape that game with the win.

Congrats Warhawks
