Crufrenzy, have you seen the Wheaton defensive front? Coach Thorne made the comparison this week. If your front does better than the Thunder did against the NCC run game you guys will win easy.

Yes I saw coach Thorne made the comparison as well. Yes I have watched the Wheaton defensive front I watched most of the NCC/Wheaton game earlier this year. From what I could tell Wheaton's defensive front is probably equally as physical as the UMHB D Line, but UMHB is a step faster, but that's just my two cents. Also Wheaton blitzes more than the Cru, we don't blitz much.

Also want to mention the 2016 Wheaton team may have been the hardest hitting football team we have ever played against, them boys brought the wood!

IMO they'd be a lot better off as part of the TAMU system than where they are today.

Does anyone know why UMHB took the bus to Ohio instead of flying? I can see North Central riding the bus, but Belton is more than 600 miles!

I can't imagine that they did, I know UMHB had some fan buses with students make the trip. UMHB Football usually charters a flight out of the killeen airport. I'm not saying they didn't take a bus but I know they usually don't

I've made the drive back home to the Midwest more times than I can count and I definitely do not recommend it!

I've got to say that although my exposure to him is very limited, I very much enjoy listening to interviews with Coach Fred.  He seems like a good dude and is obviously a great coach.  Good luck to the Cru tonight!
