Jerry Cephus has quite a story. Be sure to check it out. I expect bigger things from him as the year goes on. He strikes me as someone who could step up as that 3rd WR in addition to KJ and Brandon for the Cru.

Great read Riley. I'm just waiting for the Jerry Cephus to KJ Miller WR pass that has to be in the playbook. Cephus can flat fling it and we know what KJ can do!
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Great point! I fully expect we'll see that at least once this season! Maybe next week vs HSU? Who knows!

Just went for another 2 point conversion up 50 to 3. I'm all for playing your offense but that is a little out there...

Well I know theres an argument of someone saying "that's not our problem, it's the defenses issue and the opponent's to stop it," but good grief. What do you gain out of that? Now if you're on the road and the kicker is hurt or there is no one that can handle a PAT, I can see it...but sheshh you're halfway to 100 pts with half a game to go with the same spread, why do it? People remember. Maybe there was some bad blood or pregame got a little chippy. Who knows  ::)

Hey folks, non-southerner here super excited for the Hardin-Simmons Hardin-Baylor game. Just wanted to double check that the game will be free to stream or will it be behind a paywall? Thanks!

We don't do paywalls down here in Texas :) Should be free to stream, and you can find the link either through HSU's or UMHB's website.

So, just some thoughts...

Kyle King set the single game passing touchdown record at 6 last year against Linfield. He has done that twice already this year.

Both KJ Miller and Brandon Jordan have a shot at the career receiving touchdown record of 28. Miller has 20 and Jordan has 23.

KJ Miller needs 876 yards to reach #1 all time on the receiving chart as well. He is averaging over 90 yards per game at this point.

Kyle King is 2751 yards away from the all time passing record of 6938 by Zach Anderson. He is also fourth all time in touchdown passes with 54. He only needs 13 more to break the record of 67 by LiDarral Bailey.
