Hell of a game by the good guys. Besides a couple of big plays over the top they did a real good job. Sure made the drive home from Abilene nice...

In other news, McMurry beat southwestern and Sul Ross beat tlu. Didn't see those coming...

SW actually beat McM.  Not a huge surprise as McM hasn't really come close yet to a W (before last night).

Ditto SRSU, the kid they have playing QB, DeShields, has talent.  Had 342 yards last night and averages close to 300 despite the other two games at Trinity and A&M Kingsvile.  Won't trouble the top dogs but could make the other games interesting.

D'oh, the asc site still has McMurry winning that game. In other news, stats for the UMHB vs HSU site are all over the place lol. UMHB has Brandon Jordan's touchdown reception at 97 yards and HSU has the interception being by Tommy Bowden. Pretty sure it was Omari Frazier?

It definitely was Omari, if memory serves the PA guy said Tommy though so I would imagine their stat person went with that. Does me wonder if one person is being asked to juggle a couple of tasks too many as their scoreboard seemed to be consistently behind in terms of down and distance.

Their video broadcast had it right at least... Their stats went down forever. It was still stuck at 13 to 13 until this morning.

Was there a reason why UMHB didn't also broadcast the game? I understand and appreciate the HSU broadcasters favoring their team when talking through the game, but the visiting team should be able to have as much support as well.

I don't know the specifics here but will point out that it's actually quite rare that a visiting team does its own video broadcast of a game. UMHB is definitely in the vast minority here.

Not sure why they aren't but according to the schedule they won't be streaming any more of the road games this year but looks like they still will do audio so you could attempt to sync the other teams video to our audio.

On another note, every HSU player had TDE on the back of their jersey, anyone know what that means?

I spoke with someone who said they changed the policy after how bad the conditions at whitewater were. Not sure if it is true or not.

Toughness, Determination, Effort. 3 things we will definitely need in order to stay engaged in the next 7 games. All we can do now is try to get back to the high level we are used to and try to roll through the rest of the conference as much as possible. I can tell you, Abilene is about to be home to a lot of newly-minted UW-Platteville fans as well—our only hope for the postseason is for Platteville to way outperform expectations and make a run for 1st or 2nd place in the WIAC.

Yes...can confirm there was a stats issue...HSU worked to fix that so go to the HSU website for the box score. UMHB's box score (at least very late last night) was incorrect in a number of ways.

Was told in the press box that means "Toughness, Determination, Effort". Core aspects of the program. Apparently something implemented by Burleson. Not sure if this is the first season they're doing that or not.

Update: Saw this had already been responded to. Pretty cool way of doing the jerseys.
