I'm not sure how Logan Hansen came up with this but in a Twitter post earlier today he calculates HSU's chance of winning a Pool C bid at 41% if they win out.   I imagine he'll rerun this each week.

UMHB and HPU still control their respective destinies (at least for another week) - earning the ASC Pool A should they win out.

Very intrigued to watch the HSU/HPU game this weekend. Doubt HPU has the horses to keep up but HSU has picked similar spots to shot themselves in the foot before. Also makes me wonder how much closer HPU is to the Top 25 if they had beaten George Fox.

I think HPU has the horses to keep up with HSU, I just don't know if they have the defense to get any stops against them lol.  I'll be watching this and the Linfield/George Fox game as well...

Haha well with my thinking if we win 60-0, I am way more happy about the 0 than the 60, so when I say horses I am not just talking about the ones that score most of the touchdowns. At the end of the day if they can't score they can't win.

Very likely, because GFU is holding their own in a respected NWC...

And potentially could hold a regional ranking even if they lost to both HSU and UMHB, assuming they kept either or both close enough but there is always next year.

Man, the Howard Payne QB McKinney can really sling it. Has had some great touch on deep balls today.

Cowboy2

Best thing I've seen today was the "hard to be humble" performance by the Cowboy Band!

Ron Boerger

That Cowboy Band has been good and doing their thing for a long time.

Zero passing first downs for HSU in the first half?   Man.

Cowboy2

HPU has been running the ball but I wouldn't have taken out of McKinney's hand on that 4th and short...also HSU could throw posts every play. Middle of the field is wide open   : :o

Ralph Turner

Great game. HSU 28, HPU 19.

HSU had an 11 play, 8:04 TD drive in the middle of the 4th quarter, to extend the lead to 28-19 and defeat a very feisty HPU team.

Platteville losing in OT to Stout today is not good news for HSU.

Yes, I can imagine a 1st round matchup between UMHB at Trinity TX and the winner playing the winner of a Linfield SCAIC game.

TUTx would be the R3 #1 seed and 1-loss UMHB would be 3rd or 4th in the Region.

The winner could play the winner of a Linfield SCAIC game.

In McMinnville, eh Ralph?
Yes. The geographic proximity works to fly someone to Oregon in this case.
