Coached my first 8th grade girls basktbell game last night.  I have no clue how to coach basketball and we pulled out a win.  Not a real high scoring game.  I played 'em all and let them have fun.  Everyone calm down, I had no chance of running up the score.

sthrncwby,

I remember coaching my first 7th grade boys basketball game.  The final score was a whopping 8-4.  My team won.  ;D

You obviously were running up the score, roocru.  How else could you justify doubling up the other team?   ;)   ;D

Josh, how do you "reverse lookup" someone from an IP address?  (You can respond via email...)

No word on Alvarez funeral...

Did anyone see the JV game last night?  (HSU @ UMHB)

If so, please comment.

Thanks.

Curious about the JV also.

Yeah, but one of the scores was the other team's fault.  We started the second half and everyone forgot to change ends of the court.  The other team scored a goal in our basket and as they were going back down court my point guard realized what happened, turned around and made an uncontested layup in our goal as well.  The official then straightened the kids out and we played at the correct end of the court  for the rest of the game.  I would take credit for this as superior coaching but I was confused too.   ;D

LOL.   :D

I respect you in here, roocru.  Just because we don't root for the same teams, doesn't mean I don't think your posts are generally well written and insightful.  Just wanted you to know that.

Who does AC open up with in the NCAA volleyball playoffs?

I had just finished with football this past weekend and walked blind into the game last night.  I didnt know anyone's name.  I didnt know the offense or the defense.  I know vague concepts about basketball.  I have 15 girls.  I sent the first group of five in for the first period, the second for the second period, the third for the third, and then everyone got to play in the fourth.  That's all I did.  I sat on the bench and watched 'em play.

sthrncwby, congrats on your first Bball victory and I hope many follow.  I wonder how cowboyfann is doing in his season.

UMHB is a good team with lots of depth, which showed in the MCM game, it is not there fault that they have so much depth, they can only play the players that traveled to the game, and therefor they kept scoring, oh well, game over, it is done and said, now just look to the next game.

TXCowboy

Well it was just the first game, you have more to teach them the elbows and what not.  J/K

No reports from the JV Game?  Do you think maybe it was cancelled in anticipation of UMHB having to play all 150 on Saturday?  ;D

Don't forget to VOTE today!

Josh,

This quote below from the AC website is all the information on the volleyball team that I have so far:

Lady 'Roos Claim ASC Crown

SHERMAN – The Austin College volleyball team captured its first American Southwest Conference championship since 2000 in convincing fashion on Saturday afternoon, defeating the West Division's top seed Hardin-Simmons University 30-19, 30-19, 30-24.  With the win, the Lady 'Roos improve to 33-2 and secure a spot in the NCAA Division III South Region Tournament next week in Atlanta.

The question is how do you get his IP to begin with?

This is what I get when I try
