Please check this out.  Austin College's moving to the SCAC may boost the average attendance figures for the ASC.  The Roos drew 2250 fans in 6 games for an average of 375 per game.  Dropping that total from the ASC average would have boosted the total to 2710 fans in 44 games, 2nd only to the MIAC.

McMurry has 4 really good games this year:  Louisiana College, UMHB early in the season, HPU and TLU.

11 days and counting.  Shelton Stadium will hopefully be crazy.  The hopefully this board will be a little more active.  Man let the trash talk begin in 11 days, I can't wait.

Any news or scouting reports on Stevens Point???

WLCALUM83

According to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference web-site, UW-Stevens Point is projected to finish fifth out of eight teams.

(A general word straight from the North Country).

Which mean's they could easily win the WIAC.  You know how that conference goes!   :)

Speaking of the WIAC, I see the Laz Index is still statistically skewed to the conference.  Six of the eight teams in the top 25???

Ok then as a UMHB fan I will get the scouting question out there as well. How is Christopher Newport? I know they are usually pretty good but you got out the in d3 land?

Ralph Turner

I just reviewed the 2006 Kickoff!  As usual, eveyone is optimistic.  The projected conference cumulative record is 40-32 in conference games, so it apparent that Austin College should be going 0-8 vs. ASC teams! :D :D :D

billybaroo:

Just checked CNU's website and Christopher Newport is projected to finish second behind Ferrum in their conference.

Would you just tell us what is in it instead.  It would be more cost effective.  Thanks.

You should purchase it.  That money helps support this site.  I bought it last year and plan to buy it again this year too.  It was very good information especially about teams that I did not know about (non conference games that we played).
