Just thought I'd let you know thought I just bought airfare to Salem, VA for the Stagg Bowl for CruAlum39 and myself.      Really looking forward to it and I hope he gets to see UMHB from the stands this time !!!! 

The only thing that might keep us from going is if the high school team he is coaching is still in the playoffs and then I would have a tough decision to make.

Warren, high 80s here today and muggy.  Great night for high school football.  This is the last week of the high school regular season.  Should be much cooler next week if Trinity should host a game.  Of course, this is South Texas, so it could be hot.

Ah, yes, the vagaries of San Antonio winter weather.

I can remember a Christmas day in the high-80's and a Christmas day in the low-30's, and often it was the very same Christmas day (those nasty ol' "blue northers" that came roaring in from Canada by way of Oklahoma with nothing to slow them down except a few barbed-wire fences south of Dallas  ).
