Does the AFCA poll get updated during the playoffs or is it like the d3football.com one and won't be untill after the Stagg Bowl.

Pat Coleman

None of the real polls update during the playoffs.

llamaguy, the W&J team I saw in 2004 was very big, but they lacked speed on both sides of the ball.  Is that the case again this year?  Twice in that game, UMHB tackled the punter before he could get the kick off.

The lines are of decent size but the skill guys aren't huge. They do use speed on offense more than in the past. The monster FB, Zittleberger? sp. graduated last year.

R J Zitszelberger is gone but not forgotten, he is an assistant coach on the W&J staff.

What a great weekend.  Family and friends are here for the holiday, Cowboys on TV, Texas-A&M tomorrow, UMHB in the 2nd round of the playoffs and my alma mater playing for an automatic bowl bid.  It couldn't get much better than this.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY AND SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL FOR THE HOLIDAY AND THIS WEEKENDS GAMES!  Good luck to the Cru.  Not sure my heart could survive a rematch with the Hawks but if it does happen, glad we will have the chance to pay back your great Texas hospitality in Wisconsin where it will be alittle cooler!   ;D

BUT, shouldn't get ahead of ourselves.  Both the Hawks and the Cru have alot of business to take care of first!

I was afraid that is what it would look like.  Brrrrr! If we get that far, I'm not sure I have the right clothes.  It doesn't look like T-shirts and shorts weather like last week in Belton.

No problem, Bill.  If we both get that far, I will hook you up with a nice pair of long johns, snow boots and a hot chocolate/pepperment schnapps!!  ;D
