USC actually had 12 men on the field during the play when they had that penalty called....and illegal participation is a 15 yard penalty so even if there is any way to justify the refs calling that penalty last week there is no way to justify only penalizing us 5 yards...they either made a call that doesnt exist last week or they just announced the wrong penalty...

I think this was disproven by a citation of the rules last week. Read back through the board. Even Josh Bowerman stopped harping on the play after that. :)

Kiss my ass.

I love it!!!!

Thank you, Josh!

(For clearing things up and leaving no doubt as to how you really felt about not "harping on the rules.")  Everyone knows what REALLY happened. ::)

Most of us saw the USC game and the situation did NOT appear to be the same...

But there is always "next year!"

Merry Christmas, everyone! :-*

Not Appear?  Not remotely similar.  Man number 12 ran out and took a position on the field and no one left for the bench.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

An observation from Saturday's game.  I think HSU would have beaten W&J.  It may have been a higher scoring game.

Now wait, I lost a Karma for a lot less than that :o

Karma is a very mysterious thing.  It comes and goes for no reason at all sometimes. ;)

Come on Bill HSU would have won that game and I know we probably would have scored more points, but give the HSU Defense some credit, we dont just pull up our skirt and let people score on us.

And yes I did take advantage of a warm breezy Saturday afternoon and treat my Pops to a round of golf.  Of course I had to let him win though so next time Im home he'll go play again.

yesssss, I have Karma, I am king of the world!!!!!

Question for HSU insiders or backers.... How does HSU replace W. Galusha? Move personnel or do they have some young ones ready to step in?

Nah, minni.  It's a Field of Dreams thing.  "Hey Dad, you wanna have a catch?"

He is probably grateful for every time he gets to play with you.

Anything else is just a facade.

It's not how much Karma you make, it's how much you keep.....

I think it will be harder to replace J. Neal rather than W. Galusha.  I respect Will and his talents and everything he has done and I am pretty sure there is someone there waiting to take his place.  When you speak of replacing someone at HSU and UMHB it is something that can be done most of the time with ease.  But dont get me wrong there are times on occasion where it is difficult, but I consider Will a friend and an excellent athlete, but I think HSU has always had a good receiving core and some will step in and take his place.  And also remember he only played that position one year.

Toby Taff

Minni,

I thinl you're spot on.  Jordan is going to be more difficult to replace because he has been the leader of the team for a long time now.  We saw what happened after he went down last year.  Every account of the TLU game I heard said the loss was due to a lack of leadership.  Someone will have to step up or it could be an ugly learning season.

I do agree i was noticing that when they would sub late in the game Will was the last to come out so i figured it was freshmen behind him which doesnt mean its a bad thing. Didnt know if anyone had insight to the frontrunners here or will they move an upper classman over?
