HSU sucks, huh?

Is rapping about yourself kinda like referring to your self in the third person?  (Seinfeld reference intended)   :D

chirp, chirp, chirp (crickets).......it got awful quiet....  ;D

Now kickhoe, watch the video again.  most of the highlights were HPU getting handled.  Besides thats video of last years team, and I bet Feaster's happy #5 isn't on the other side of the ball.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Chris Brooks,
good reply on my post concerning MC's Defense. The rush D is a very important stat. I hope they are much better. I know from last year they were really bad up front, and usually these things don't clear up in   just 1 year. Their LB's were very bad last year as well. BUT, to the new D-Coordinator's credit, he did vastly improve the secondary when he was only a position coach back there. Norm Joseph is a great human, but i sure hope he learns his lesson this year, and starts to put more athletes and energy into D.
-If he doesnt, people like LC will be able to give him a run every year. I don't think with this coaching mind structure he will ever win the big one in the ASC. (ETBU had a very good Defense the year they pulled it out).
-If you need proof of my philosophy, do you think Mike Leach will ever win the BIG 12 outright, just throwing for 500 yards every week? If your D isn't very good, you give the other teams Offense a chance to control the pace of the game. If te other team's D isn't very good either, then it turns in to a track meet, and thus this is where you get teams with no business being in the game, being able to win on any given day. Old Charlie Wies may have alot of trouble with the same philosophy.

I remember that ETBU defense being tough, they had a nose tackle that was about 200 lbs but was all over the field. Can't remember his name but seems like he led the league in tackles for loss.

No question that whoever steps up to challenge HSU and UMHB will have to be solid defensively. Hopefully, that will be us this year. Still a long way to go this season, no telling what will happen.

I believe you are talking aboout Dean Littleton. He'll be hard to forget for UMHB and HSU fans for a long time. And he'll be remembered as somewhat of a folk hero at ETBU  I bet too. He had something like 16 tackles with 8 for loss against UMHB in 2003. These 8 for loss were mostly on Fredenburg when he tried to run, i think.

I believe his name is Littleton Dean.

Totally unrelated, but I wanted to share this snowboarding video with my friends.  :)

I guess the video could be some inspiration, but this video has been on youtube since four days after the UMHB-HSU playoff game last year. And also if the Cowboys need more motivation for this game, they have bigger problems since another loss and they have no chance of making the playoffs.

Toby Taff

The only bright spot to HSU not making the playoffs is possibly breaking up the Texas sub-bracket.  So if HSU loses Saturday everyone cheers for the farthest SCAC team to win the leagues AQ

yes it is littleton dean.  He had a sour ending to his career here at etbu by giving lycoming a first down with a personal foul on 4th and goal when he made a tackle in the backfield.  The game would have more than likely been won without the penalty.  Sad that his career had to end on a such a sour note after he had been so good.

CruAlum39

Yes he had an amazing game against the Cru in '03.  He would be tackling Fredenburg as he opened up to run the option.  We could not block him.

They also orchestrated an amazing, playoff ending, drive that I still have not been able to put out of my mind.

4th and 27!!!! On their own 17!!! 1:07 left in the game!!! Are you kidding me!!!

Sorry, think that struck a nerve somewhere...
YOU KNOW IT!!!!

Well, CRUALUM39
every dog has its day. Seems ETBU had thier's too that day. I don't foresee another one anytime soon for the Tigers.
