Cru15,  I've been watching football a long time and I've seen plenty of upsets.  MC has the opportunity to really make a statement about their program.  UMHB can't afford to go there and assume they are going to roll over MC.  Look at all the upsets in D1 this year.  As far as Mt. Union, there are a lot of games left to be played.  I would like to see that game also, but I don't think it is wise to be looking that far ahead.

I already asked this on the daily dose message board but just in case they don't answer there I will ask here too. It said you could somehow watch the UMHB-MC game live for $8.95. How can I make that happen?

We provide live video of all our home games but it is part of a subscription package. You can buy a month subscription for $9.95 and cancel after the game is over. Hopefully next year we can provide this as a free service, but for now we have to do the subscription model. Here is the link https://secure.internetconsult.com/mississippi/registration.aspx?

Mr. McCabe I too have seen alot of football, played alot of football, and coached football. That is why I can say with confidence that UMHB will win with relative ease. I guess we will see on on saturday though. Also it was great fun playing football with your son he is a great guy!

Thanks Cru15.  Ryan is doing great.  I just get a bit nervous when so many people are already putting UMHB up against Mount Union.  This is a big game in my opinion and I'm sure that is how MC is approaching the game.  Just look what it would mean if they win.  Hopefully, you will be right.

Rick Akins

I agree, Bill.  I am  nervous, too--especially with this being a long road trip--plus of course what no one is saying--UMHB has another long road trip next week that people have been talking about for a while. Also, MC has homecoming and has to have a  lot of confidence with their excellent results so  far.

Bill McCabe

Rick, the fact that it is MC's homecoming will mean a lot of emotion on their side.  An early turnover or a score and UMHB could be in for a battle.

Do any of you think this could be a trap game for UMHB? There has been so much talk about the CRU being on a level with Mount Union and then you have the
UWW game talk .. I realize it's mostly post banter but how much of that gets into the kids heads ??
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

PA_wesleyfan,  I know it makes me nervous.  In 2003, UMHB was rolling along undefeated and along came ETBU with an OT win.  UMHB was left out of the playoffs that year.  Hopefully, the coaches won't let all the talk get to the team and they will come out strong against MC.  I don't think MC will be able to stop UMHB's offense.

i can guarantee that the Cru has not taken this game lightly; the players are focused and respect the Choctaws. this comes from the players themselves...

yessir

I can promise you that the CRU isn't looking past this game. Couple years back, MC tried everything to slow down the CRU offense. Including watering the field all night long. Making it similar to a swamp on game day. Things like that stay in your memory for quite a while. All this talk about an upset. Like I said last week. Only thing worse than playing UMHB, is playing a mad UMHB. Good luck this week CRU!! Keep on rolling!!! I'll see yall boys in Wisconsin next week.
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

Stay focused CRU... one play at a time... one drive at a time... one quarter at a time... one half at a time... one game at a time - today's game... roll into Whitewater 7-0!
