I am curious TLU GOAT, do you believe TLU will be the one knocking off UMHB or do you believe it will be another ASC team?
Most definitely.....the team is loaded with sophomores and juniors right now....just wait til next year. I will guarantee an 8win season, at least. You can save this and throw it in my face next year, if we dont.
Okay goat.

You don't stumble over any of the ASC mere mortals.

You win one out of three against UMHB, Trinity and HSU.

Gotcha!

I am going to go out on a limb here and say the CRU will beat WW easily 42-17! I don't think anyone can stop there running game.

Almost as funny as that comment :)

crufootball

I wonder which is more likely, UMHB meeting UW-W in the playoffs and winning 42-17 or TLU winning 8+ and knocking UMHB off the top of the hill?

Cru15

Still had a better shot of that happening then for TLU to beat UMHB! D-BAG I mean dballa.

I'm not a TLU fan, couldn't care less about their athletics.  I just figured someone making a comment like that shouldn't be making fun of someone else making a far out prediction.

Bill McCabe

Wait til next year! You've got to love TLUGOATS enthusiasm and optimism.  ::)

WOW....not even the end of the 2007 season and your already making predictions about the 2008 season. If I was yall, I would be worried about Louisiana College, not 2008.

Lol...Seems like I ruffled a few feathers in here.... :)  As far as the Louisiana College statement, I would worry about them if i was playing this year, but since i'm not, I can talk about next year. 8) I understand UMHB has been the monster of the conference, but the reign has to and will end next year. I will not allow TLU to fall victim of the fear factor that UMHB presents to all of the ASC teams, and each university or program should follow suit. Its pitiful to watch these schools bow down to UMHB. They dont do anything great. They just do everything good, I am not disrespecting UMHB at all, I'm just believing in TLU,and i think every school in the ASC should do so, instead of bowing down.

:D +1 imaginary karma since i cannot yet give it

crufootball

TLU GOAT, I take it that you will be playing for TLU next year and you seem to have a lot of confidence in what the Bulldogs will be able to do next year and that is great.

But UMHB does do just a few things great. They lead the nation (not just the ASC) in rushing offense, scoring offense, tackles for loss, turnovers gained, and passes intercepted.

Once again I want to commend you for your confidence in TLU, but you are disrespecting UMHB when you say they don't do anything great.

yessir

LMAO.....I too will +1 karma TLU_g.o.a.t. even though I can't. UMHB does alot of things great, including beating TLU 48-0. Cheers to a great "Selection Sunday" for TLU. However, yall haven't really had to watch that here lately have you......I wish yall the best. After going 2-8 this year, it's not real hard to progress much in 2008 now is it.

It will be interesting to see how the CRU uses this last game to prepare for the playoffs.  I hope they give Welch more opportunities to pass this week.  I think the CRU running game can get them past the first two rounds in the playoffs but after that I think we have to be ready to beat a team with the passing game especially if we get down early.

Just a question for those of you that have watched the CRU this year.  Do we have any screens or quick slants in the playbook?  It just seems to me that with the talent we have in the back field a screen pass here and there could do a lot.

Good luck CRU and finish out strong this weekend.

Okay, UMHB went to UWW and got demolished, you can say it was because of turnovers or whatever, but C'mon!!! The quality of athlete is by far greater in Texas than in Wisconsin,so if a Wisconsin team can do it, so can a team from the ASC. UWW was not scared of the purple helmet and you saw the result.

The quality of athletes in Texas is not relevant; it's the quality of athletes that go to UMHB and TLU.  And unless UMHB is disbanding its football team, I sincerely doubt that TLU is going to win that battle in the space of a season or two.
