Hey Wes, you should go to their athletics website and explain to me why they are not Dominating the SCAC. Maybe you know something that Trinity doesn't??

Listen, hot shot.  If you don't win the President's Bell, you ain't dominating a darned thing.  You want to call them dominating in volleyball?  Then say that.  You want to call them dominating in football?  THEN SAY THAT.  When another school wins 10 of the 17 championships offered, you have no leg to stand on when you call the SCAC a worthless conference that Trinity owns.

Don't feed me your garbage about Trinity rolling everybody in a crap conference when DePauw won the national championship in one sport and was in the Final Four in another.  They can't beat Millsaps in baseball and they haven't been to the tourney in either basketball in two seasons. 

Don't tell me the only reason Trinity is in the SCAC is so they can cake walk football season.  Everybody knows that's not true.

a little heated on here. but i understand why your upset yessir i mean wes did call you out telling you to get your facts straight when they were.....i believe you...i dont need to go look it up.  what we really need to do yessir is shoot for winning the prestigious PRESIDENTS BELL cause that means everything!!!!!

Wow there little guy.......No one ever said that the SCAC was a crap conference, nor did I say that it was a worthless conference. Sounds like to me your getting all worked up over words that you said (typed), not I. Some of the sports in the SCAC aren't even played in the ASC. Trinity fits much better in the SCAC for alot of reasons. Trinity does pretty good in all the sports that it participates in. Ok, they didn't win the "President's Bell" this year, but they sure came close. Winning 855 to 850 isn't dominating, just as not winning it at all isn't dominating. Sounds like both of use are wrong to me. Im done with that..........

So anyways.....any insights on the game this week.

I don't think the ASC will release the information until UMHB is done playing. Yet I'm not sure on that. I think they tell the players, but don't announce it publically until everyone is done playing. Don't qoute me on that though.

Last year the All-Conference list was listed on UMHB'S website Thursday before the first round against HSU. So with any luck this year list will come out tomorrow.

Speaking of the All-Conference list, who is everyones bet for ASC Coach of the Year. Does it go to Coach Pete Fredenburg of UMHB with the perfect ASC record or Coach Norman Joseph of MC who has taken them from the bottom of the ASC to near the top with a 8-2(6-2) record. Or will they share it like Coach Pete did last year?

My vote would be for Norman Joseph of MC. They had a great season this year. Something they haven't had in a while.

thanks for the answers!!! We would all think the honor would go to coach fred because of his teams amazing year but coach norman is doing a great job with mc.  In my opinion it should go to coach fredenburg. How about thoughts on offensive and defensive players of the year.  Is it gonna be umhb with both the awards in thrasher and freeman or maybe Quinton Jones thrown in there...or the mississippi college quarterback? just throwing up the topic!!

Personally I think that Thrasher should get OPOY. He had a tremendous year, ecspecially with sharing alot of carries with Quincy Daniels.  However, the MC QB put up some amazing numbers. As for DPOY, I would like to see Jarrell Freeman and Eric Henri share the honors. Both of them are outstanding linebackers individually, but together I think they could rival any Linebacker pair in the nation. Should be interesting to see who gets what.
