Dang Jerrell was fast, he will be missed by the Cru next year.

My thought and prayers go out to the family and friends of Fred Jacoby, first commissioner of the ASC,  Interesting that he had ties to the WIAC and OAC.

Jerrell was a great linebacker.  Has anyone heard how recruiting has gone this year?

Dang Jerrell was fast...

And evidently pretty arrogant.   I guess I should be glad to have witnessed the greatness that is "Mr. All World" for the last few years...

Your right you are lucky that he is not back next year.

Weak Safety

Was he really the American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year for 4 years?

No, he was only the  Player of the Year once in 07 his senior year. Josh Kubiak of UMHB won the award in 06 and 05, so it would have been impossible to win the award four times. Maybe they meant ASC Defensive Player of the Week???

Weak Safety

I bet you're right.  Must have been 4 time Defensive Player of the Week.  I thought Kubiak had won the Def. POY award a couple of times.

you have to be kidding me! i seriously doubt he had anything to do with the making of that highlight film. Also i bet u could speak to anyone that knows Freeman or that has talked to him and i think that they would agree with me in saying that he is a very classy and respectful young man

Then I'm sure he'd like to know that someone is spurilously misrepresenting him on the web, and that he will take the appropriate actions to ensure his reputation and image are not subjected to continued scrutiny by:  A) either having the video removed or B) at least having it corrected to ensure it accurately reflects both his accomplishments and his character.

Surely you don't have a problem with that, oldmancru...

i kind of see where you are coming from, but i would say that it would be a little extreme to go through all that trouble...you cant tell me that this film (witch somebody else made) should tarnish his character, reputation, image, or accomplishments because a fan thinks highly of him. how can you pass judgment on someone you dont know or havent done your homework on (a little unfair)?

I watched the video.  That's all I have to go on, here.

Any truth to the rumor of Erik Slaughter going to HSU as strength coach?

Whatever the case with Freeman, he was a difference maker via the video. He has the "suddeness" factor like i havent seen in the ASC since Greg Washington at etbu in about 2003.
