While looking through the TLU site I found this picture of Quincy Daniels lone carry.  Knees shouldn't bend like that.  Am I right Dr. Turner?

Knees were not meant to bend that way!

Official announcement ---

Mothers, please do not let your children see that picture.

WOW that picture is breathtaking....poor Quincy. Best of wishes man.
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

I'm not even going to look at the picture... that said, is there any word on the extent of QD's injury?

A more appropriate comment may be,

"Children, don't let your mothers see this photo.  Otherwise you won't ever get to play football!"

CruAlum90

Whats all this talk about the UMHB pass defense, I agree we could've played better, but seriously guys, the only touchdown they scored we were lined up wrong, we had 2 corners over and no one defending on one of thier recievers, who ended up scoring an easy touchdown.  TLU's QB is pretty athletic, i think he'll prove to be a good ASC player this year.  The injury to Quincy hurts, not just because he's an outstanding football player but he's an outstanding kid, you hate to see that happen to anyone but Quincy embodies everything that UMHB football is about, you just can't say enough about this kids character!  with his work ethic and attitude I have no doubt he'll make a full and speedy recovery.  Anyways, GO CRU, 63-7 to start conference play should get the word out, we'ain't goin anywhere!!!
"What are they gonna do......... not start me?"

I haven't heard anything yet, and there was nothing in this mornings telegram on-line.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

minni

"HSU had 581 yards of offense and ran 91 plays in the game."  That seemed to me to be a lot of plays and should have been a few more yards, but a win is a win on the road.  Time to get ready for Mississippi college.  Should be fun on Saturday.

UMHB had another dominating performance.  Should be fun this year in Belton!!!

Looks like October 4 could be a great matchup.

Question for the smarter people of the board.

Lamarcus Preston of LC played for ETBU in 2002 and 2003.  How is he still eligible?  How is he only listed as a JR?

Im just curious because I thought you only had 5 years to play your four.

Also how come he isnt getting pub like Mike Flynt did last year?

Is he 59?

Pat Coleman

If he didn't attend school full-time in the interim then he is still eligible.

The Temple paper for today has an article about the Cru and talks about Daniels injury.  Apparently the MRI is scheduled for later in the week, and Daniels was in the field house Monday working the knee out.  The article talks some about the options available depending on the MRI results, and reports on the Coaches weekly press conference.
