For your listening pleasure, then.

Man, that's almost enough to warrant some negative karma!  Thanks for bringing up the bad memories.

i was looking over the schedule of events for the stagg bowl, can anyone give details on what sessions are open to the general public..example like fca breakfast?

team luncheon is open; Galgliardi trophy dinner is open.  You have to pay for both.  But I have enjoyed both of them.

You know what I'm tired of ........ of people comparing  HSU to Wesley. The bottom line is that we beat them both and we settled all of our arguements on the field. So lets worry about W&J since they will be ready to play us and are very well coached.

umhb2001

I haven't really seen that comparison, but that is one that can not be made.  HSU is a conference match up, one that will always be a battle both on the field and on the recruiting trail. Wesley is totally different.  They are both rivalries, but for totally different reasons.  Both have a totally different feel as well.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Easy big fellow. Calm yourself. By all means lets talk about W&J. Seems like UMHB already has their travel plans made to salem.

Look here COWBOY...FAN...we sure aren't overlooking anyone...just ask your precious cowboys. Don't be mad because you and your Cowboys have never experienced the lovely air of Salem.

Also I think I mentioned this in my first post Mr. Fan.

thanks olinemom for the info on salem

I don't think anyone is booking a flight to salem, unless they're going regardless of the opponents or its all about Stone Station.  W&J will come to play a nd Sirianni will have them prepared.  the Cru just needs to strap em on and get after it.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

i've kept quiet after week one of the playoffs because we lost...but this just doesn't make any since to me! You won....YES congratulations!! BUT lets get this straight....it was a great game which very well could've gone either way....just be lucky it went your way because statistically (and before you get all fired up....ya'll won which means you are the better team...i guess) we won almost every aspect of the game. We had more than 100 more yards then ya'll and from what i saw we completely dominiated you offensively, especially in the trenches and defensivelly we kept you under 180ish yards rushing, hsu had that much rushing and we're a passing team. The reason ppl are comparing is because HSU is an unbelievable team and unfortuanatly they are sitting home instead of still playing. Dont get me wrong this is not an excuse....I just had to say something because your comment was rediculous. But hey GOOD LUCK THIS WEEKEND!!!

Every post-season, we get a few newbies who haven't been thru the process with us, who don't realize that the remaining posters have changed their blood from respective Navy/Old Gold or Maroon/White or Blue/Gold or the "LSU looking" Purple/Gold, etc. to "ASC Purple/Gold".

The pride of Texas is riding with the CRU, and we are all pulling for you.  If UMHB wins out, including the Stagg, by at least a TD, we can argue that the Championship game took place in Belton in the first round and the best team on that day might have been the one with the HFA and the last possession.

That makes for good Texas bragging, but that is a long way away tonight.

W&J is as motivated as they have ever been.  They can look at the archives to see that their return to the Stagg Bowl has been stopped by Texans too many times.

Good luck, CRU.  Lots of old timers remember the old Big 33 Texas-Pennsylvania High School All-Star Games from the mid 1960's.  And Cowboy-Steeler Super bowls are special games.  This one should be no different.
