I always liked I.M. Hipp.  A back from one of those dixie scholls some years ago.
Yeah, who attended (Southern) Nebraska University...  :D  :D  :D

Nebraska,  isn't that next to alabama?    Oh well I still liked the name

I think that Nebraskans might warm up to a name change, South South Dakota.

After all, I have heard Okies refer to my proud state as Baja Oklahoma.  :o  ;D

Hmmm...Baja South Dakota...

Or make it two words... Baja Southdakota...

That might gain some acceptance around the Big XII, if not around the country.   :D

This isn't D3, but I liked it and thought I'd share.

South Carolina has twin LBs named Jasper and Casper.

Seriously.

CWRU has a FR WR Brian Webster who's not much bigger than Emmanuel Lewis!

Sorry, but our broadcasters have commented that he isn't as big as his listed 5-9 170. And he looks smaller to me than another player listed at 5-9 155.  It's just the picture that sticks in my mind whenever I hear "Pass complete to Webster."

I like Max Crush.

From Huntingdon's roster yesterday (the south and upper midwest are great for names), I found LB Wogga Pate.

Pat pointed out DeAngelo Hill ... one letter from making the famously-named list.

Also LB Granger Shook, DL Essex Taylor, OL Dino Tampary, QB Taurus Ford.

Hey, that's good. Was that already on this thread?

Word on the street is that might not be the last we hear of him. But anyway ...

Bashbro - I already did that one. Though I showed my age (and taste for obscure new wave music) by calling him Josh "Promised You A" Miracle.

Sorry Smed...missed that one.

Ok here is probably one that hasn't appeared on here.

Sam Lightbody -  (6-9, 321 Washington State, Tampa Bay Bucs)

Pretty heavy if you ask me.

Reminder to self: I think it was the Augustana-IWU game that had some good solid unique names ... I'll have to get at that later, but wanted to post before the thought left my mind ... maybe for good.
