Also, if you continually praise or smite an individual poster, eventually you'll run out of karma to give that individual.

Given that the same ego freak has smited me virtually every day for months and months, I find this really hard to believe. Can I get a definition of "eventually." I'd love to put an end to our mutually childish behavior of smite/counter smite and get back to the reasons we came to this board in the first place.

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Where do I sign up to join the Anti-70's Ego Freak Club?   ;D
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

JCU's DC, Scott Niedzwiecki, is supposedly taking the Ed's job.  Press conference at 4 p.m. today.  Best wishes to a good coach...

Yeah. This was in reference to a feature that was supposed to be in this message board software but has never worked correctly.

You've been smited twice in the past 24 hours. Which ego freak are you referring to? :)

I was checking on a neighbor here in North Canton to see where he decided to attend college.  He was being recruited by a few MAC schools, but evidently never got an offer, or one that he thought was viable.

Seth Allman is headed to Marietta???????  This is a quality kid with a great work ethic, and major speed.  A teammate of his at North Canton, Dan England, is also attending Marietta.  That is two major "gets" for Marietta.  Maybe they WILL be for real.

I was hoping Allman would end up at Mount.  I can't BELIEVE we can't get all the best players!   ;D

Here is some info on him.  LB appears to be headed to MUC:

DIII spring football?  OAC spring football?  Where have I been?  Are Ohio high schools having spring practice now?  I've been away for too long.

Last year was the first year for spring ball I think.  FL High Schools also have spring practice.

KD - the linebacker from Hoover is a tough nut.  Good kid, hard hitter.  Reminds me a bit of Matt Rees, only maybe not quite as quick.

Kirasdad,

Thanks for the link to Hoover.  Are there more of these type of sites for high schools? I know....get a real life.

Skunks,

On the surface it does look like the Raiders are getting the better player. Nothing against Seth but maybe he was tired of being in some else's shadow.

Doesn't hurt to have Marietta moving up in the conference. All the WIAC drum beaters who think they have the stongest conference will see the OAC is certainly close if not ahead. IMHO. The coach at Marietta is a WIAC graduate. It won't take long to see how far they have come this year.
Marietta is in MN against St Johns opening weekend. I'll be there.

I don't think LK has lost his touch quite yet!

Let me just suggest an '07 Raider Battle Cry......

When the other thumb has one, I guess that then it'll be "one for the weiner".

High school spring ball in Florida doesn't begin until May 1.  It's nice, but I'm not so sure a few more preseason camp sessions wouldn't be more beneficial.  Did DIII give up days in the fall in return for spring practice?

I don't think they gave up any practices from the fall.  They just now allow coaching and footballs (no pads) during the spring for 15 practices during 3 weeks (I think).

Hey thanks for the heads up on the Marietta recruits. Just even seeing Marietta mentioned in the football realm is getting me more excited. An up and coming Marietta program will solidify the OAC as the premier football conference. I will be at St. John's and how bout this as a headline, Marietta shocks the DIII world with a win over St. John's. :o A guy can dream can't he? Maybe its the spring fever talkin. Regardless, Go Pios!
