Does anyone have a tape of that game or any of the last two years of Mt football that I could, buy, borrow, steal? I would greatly appreciate it.

Golic's (the one on ESPN and the one on "Saved By the Bell: The College Years") both did play at Notre Dame.  The St. Joe's pipeline to U of M was Elvis Grbac and Desmond Howard (football) and Eric Riley (basketball).  London was recruited by Michigan and Ohio State but never offered.  His only offers were from MAC schools and Cinci.  He only played football his senior year of high school.  Conso is exactly right about the school he first attended.
Just putting the pieces together...

OU25:
The announcment I heard at the game didn't say it would be available on Canton-Alliance Warner Cbl. It said channel 52 (wherever in the heck that is), Massillon cable, Tuscarawas county and on-campus TV.

I know what you mean.  If I could pick the lotto numbers after they give the results, I would be better off too.

The Mount Union -  Capital game was televised last Saturday evening at 8:00PM on Canton's WIVM Channel 52, and on Warner Cable 585 which is also WIVM.

I do not attend school at MUC I work on the chain crew. I saw the game on Time Warner channel 585.

yeah, I knew Golic was off, I was thinking of something else.  It's hard to remember players from Cleveland, I can give you all the Canton players b/c they normally stay in state which helps.

conso: Motley has expired but lived in Canton until his death. I believe Dierdorf lives in or around St. Louis. I wonder where George Saimes can be found. I have now exhausted my recollection of Canton football players.  If you want to start on Cleveland players, #1 in time is my favorite, August "Iron Mike" Michalske. There are also Tom Mack, Bennie Friedman and a large bunch more whom I could call up, but I'm not going to bore you. Incidentally Dierdorf, Mack and Friedman all attended Michigan (as you probably know).

I would also like a copy of the Capital game if anyone has it taped. The fourth quarter rush must have been unbelievable.  Being in MN it makes it tough to see the Raiders in any way. Did manage JCU and it was worth the price of admission.  Contact on my e-mail if it is possible to get a tape.

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

The OAC board is dead b/c:

1.  MUC faithful are dozing off waiting for someone to give them something to be awake for.
2.  The CAP guys don't have much to say now that the playoffs are a long shot.
3.  The ONU folks are in very much the same situation.
4.  OTT/BW is the game of the week...how sad is that?

It is sad when the game of the week has no real bearing on the conference title.
Even though Mount plays Wilmington there are no easy games. Your body gets pounded on every play and when you're at the top it seems as though the guys on the other team hit you a little harder.

Any word on the ONU appeal? Has it hurt the mentality of the players?

Hope y'all have a great football weekend!

GO PURPLE!
