ONU holds on 27-14 after leading 27-0 at the half.  Ott scored 14 in the third (first points of the season in the third quarter).  Wish I could have listened to it but at least they got a W.

MUCALUM05

Hey everyone, just wanted to say thanks to Ric and the coach for letting me fill in today on the radio side. It had been a while since I got to do a MUC game on the air and it def brought back some memories from the WRMU Days. Thanks again and congrats to Kmic on breaking the record.

Any word on what happened to Cap's Assman, Alexander and Blake? Hopefully it's just minor because they've got the meat of the schedule coming up.

Results for Week 5 and games for Week 6 have been posted.

St Johns played to the expected level of competition. What they did not count on was the Knights raised their level. Sneeky Knights!

Carlton's coach is an ex-SJU player. He was at "Da Berg" for awhile as their O coordinator. Their team was fired up and ready to play. They just ran out of steam and SJU woke up in time. SJU played on a soggy field and that seems to give them fits too. See '93 playoffs. LOL. That is kind of an inside joke. ;D

Good to see Zimmerman maintained his 14 points per game average!
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

That was one sweet game.  SJU didn't get a first down until the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Finally a game this week to see what Mount has and what ONU has.

RC           canton paper said that Mt. has a 63 game road  win streak.

MUCalum05:  Good job yesterday.  Very impressed you didn't call balls and strikes.

If you make it to Ada, come up and say "hey".

I just went to Ric's site and counted back...

If you go back 63 regular season away games there is indeed a loss but that was the loss at home against BW (Oct. 15, 1994).

I recounted and came up with this (counting yesterday's game in Tiffin):

73 consecutive regular season wins on the road versus the OAC (|ast loss at BW in 1991)

81 consecutive regular season wins on the road counting season openers on the road (1991 BW game)

And I trust the combination of Ric's site and my ability to navigate Ric's site over the Canton Rep on this one.  ;)
