RC-

Nothing but Karma for you on that one, buddy.  That was one of the best posts of the year.

Hoops, anyone?

JT

JU,

Call the Ithaca SID dept.  The visitors get an allotment.  Then you'll be able to sit with other Bomber faithful.  In fact in 2005, I just called Mount Union and they handled vistors tix.  I think I paid by CC over the phone and got them at will call or the student ctr.

Will it be any trouble getting tickets the day of the game?  And did I see somewhere that it was assigned seating there?

All seats at Mount Union are reserved.  There should not be a problem getting tickets at the gate.  Even if the game were sold out, standing room should be available.

You could phone ahead for tickets.  The ticket line is 330-821-6759.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
12-0 = 13

Yeah call them and ask to sit in the Ithaca visitors section, and they'll hook you up.

There will NO problem getting tickets at the gate.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

A Mount Union Cheerleader knows that 60 points on the board means she's going to do 312 push ups!  :o

Hey Rscl70:

It actually depends on how Mount get's the 60 points.  If Zimmerman hits 20 field goals then the cheerleaders would actually be doing 630 pushups in that contest.  Sound crazy...yeah just as crazy as the Bengals who scored 21 points on 7 field goals yesterday.  ;)

How many different combinations of touchdowns, extra points, field goals and safeties can there be to reach 60 points and how many push ups would result from each?  Perhaps some math student could work on this for a project, but not me and certainly not at 6:53 AM!  Maybe hscoach could add a line to the pickems....How many push ups will Mount Union Cheerleaders do next Saturday?  :)

I'm certainly not going to work out ALL possible combinations, but the minimum would be 258 (2 tds with missed conversions, followed by 6 tds with 2-point conversions), while the maximum would be a cheerleading-killing 900 (30 safeties).

You must forgive this man. he is a retired statistics professor and hasn't seen a live d3 football game in forever but still has plenty to say! ;D

Thanks for the input.

Should I get the tickets right away to get a seat up high or does it matter? (I would like to watch the game from the top of the stands)

Call early and ask to be seated as close to the Press Box as possible.  The lower seats are sometimes blocked by the players on the sidelines.

In that case, I hope that Mount Union's cheerleaders are the bosomy type, so that they don't have to go as far to touch the ground when they're doing all of those pushups. ;)

Say what? ::)

I'm simply thinking of the cheerleaders, WT. Would you want to have to do 312 pushups, even if you were still at the spritely young age of 20?[While I was 20 many moons ago, I don't recall ever being "spritely."]

Any way that they can cut corners with regard to such an onerous task is something for which any compassionate person should wish, I would think. Am I right? {Of course .... }

Its funny, I was just talking a stroll around MUC's facilities and saw this weightroom....

Reminds me of the old IC weight room that was even smaller.  But then I saw this....

I like it.  Old school.  Reminds me of the gym that Rocky worked out in in Rocky III.

In a poor attempt to win +karma in combination with a slow work day (btw...thank you Veterans!) I worked out the cheerleading math for the Mount 2007 regular season.

MUC Cheerleaders performed 2,978 pushups this season.  Individual game totals include:

Averett: 553;  Otterbein: 361; Muskingum: 373;  Heidelberg: 373; ONU: 176; Wilmington: 303; B-W: 105; Capital: 127; JCU: 303; Marietta: 304;

Avg. approx. 298 pushups per game.

I wondered what you were talking about because I was in there a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed with the equipment in Gulling. Trust me, it ain't old school anymore. That's an old picture.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
