Wow, looks like TCNJ checked that big bad D at the Ohio boarder.
I had to read this a couple times.  ...at the Ohio border.

ya,  you'll have that.

We could have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th ranked teams in the semis.

1,2,3,4,5,6,9 & 12th ranked teams made the quarterfinals.

No. 12 had the best bracket draws, but that's about to change playing No. 2 Whitewater.  ;D

How many teams in the OAC could beat this year's 2nd round teams: Curry, St. John's, EC, NCC, Muhlenberg, North Central, and Case Western?

My guess is more than one.

Having been at the game (although we did leave at half-time) it was a weird game to watch.  TCNJ completely sold out their whole defense to the run, so no surprise that Kmic (Mount) didn't have a huge running day.  They were putting 8-9 guys on/near the line of scrimmage, and bringing all of them almost on every play.  Micheli's stats have to be massive.  The quick out, or the flood pass was huge all day.

TCNJ's offense was the WORSE I have seen.  They never threw the ball down the field (although their QB's were running for their life every play), and as per usual NO ONE has a running game against Mount.  How that team won as many games as they did, AND won a playoff game (shame on you RPI) is a wonder.

Well Fisher.......IT'S not coming........IT'S HERE!   ;D

With all the East trash-talk (it's been more than one person Tags) I hope Mount plays a classic, clicking on all cylinders type game.  Early prediction will be Mount by four touchdowns.

At least the OAC's other qualifier can say while completely undermanned, they got beat by what looks like one of the participants in this year's Stagg.

Ithaca just might be the best "other" team in the East.  Next Saturday will tell.

Back from the game and what's to say.  The last names on the TCNJ roster read like the credits from the Good Fellows movie.  Gambino played well as did the rest of NJ defense in the first quarter.  They were on the field a long time.  They simple ran out of gas.  Bring on the Jesuits.  Of note, they were keying on Kmic all day long.  They forgot about the rest of Mt's offense.  Those crazy, crazy guys from NJ.

The only way to have known is if any of them could have made it to the 2nd round.

Yes, MUC beat up on TCNJ.

As bad as a beating as it sounds, it is worth noting that TCNJ did put up more points on the board today than 8 of the 9 OAC opponents that MUC has faced this year. .

Hey.......did anybody notice #11 on the sidelines for TCNJ?   ;D

He looked like the prototypical "Jersey thug".  Hammer and the crazies were yelling "put #11 in!"

It is baffling to see to what end people will make excuses for a conference's failure.  OAC avg. score per game vs. MUC was 51-1.  7 teams in the OAC didn't even manage to put points on the board against them.

Maybe you the conference was the best or good in the past, however, this is 2007. And in '07 the OAC was off.

Hey SJF Fan.....you are the same guy that called the OAC PPC right?

You are definitely in the GENIOUS category with your football knowledge.

So the Fisher faithful will all say "we have been there before.....we know what it takes to beat Mount".  "We gave Mount their best game last year.....if not for ONE BAD BREAK..we win that game."  "If Stepnick hadn't got hurt today we would DEFINITELY beat them easily."

Saturday will prove all.....but I sense a high level game coming for the Raiders...can Fisher match it?

The game will be played next week--then we can get on with the "I told you so" talk....

MUC by 24 or more next week.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

SJF......what about the Empire 8's failure?  Hartwick...YOUR LEAGUE CHAMPION AND AQ....gets blown out by Curry?  The Curry that just got completely smoked by Fisher?

I give Ithaca all the props in the world.  They played fairly well last week battling hard and only losing by 24.

Skunks,
Such is your clear superiority that perhaps future playoff contenders should just fill out and submit a questionaire in order to qualify their abilities and intentions before MUC and their 2500 fans must demean themselves by sharing a field.

Your "good-sportsmanship" in a 59-7 victory while demeaning nationalities and perpetuating stereotypes will forever make me a MUC "fan".

BTW, does MUC beat Whitewater if they give up six sacks like they did against those Jersey thugs today?
