I also want to congratulate MUC.  Thats a long streak that was snapped today.  Now that pressure's off....I'm sure we'll see big things from the Raiders.

Just coming over to give my congrats to ONU. Your team has been through a lot already this year and I'm sure no matter what happens the rest of the season with the NCAA, at least the guys will have something to hang their hat on. MUC congrats to you as well, ESPN needs to have been making a big deal out of your guys streaks. 99 in a row is unheard of and winning it seems like 50 NC  in the last few years has been something to really be jealous of.

I kept waiting for the announcer to say, will all you old farts get off your a$$ and start cheering for this team.  The Stadium sounded like a damn funeral today.  It was terrible.  If you go to an OSU game you see 60,65,70,75 year old people cheering and going nuts.  When you go to Mount you see them sitting under their blankets, sipping tea like it's a chess match.  I'm a Mount Fan and been going to games since '97, but Mount fans are the worst fans in the league when it comes to support and a noise factor.  EmbarASSment.  Congrats on a great win ONU.  Hopefully there will be a grudge match in the playoffs.

NO Baptist here, but neither is Mount Union College, lol! and yes, the cheerleaders were doing push ups on the wet all weather track too along with George!  But as you can tell the girls didnt have a normal workout of 200+ this weekend! The Raiders will be rolling again next week, and i'm sure they'll be focused much more now than ever! That's one thing LK has always achieved! Time to start another 99 at home!

I was told at the game today that the appeal will be heard and decided before the playoffs. It only seems right that there should be finality to it, win or lose, this football season. Maybe my memory of this process is faulty but I thought when the timeline of the appeal was outlined it looked like it wouldn't be heard until well into the playoffs.
As to 1994, MUC, JCU and BW all tied and OAC chose MUC (as the defending Nat'l champ) for their playoff team. With the explanded playoffs in 2005 there shouldn't be 2 teams left in the cold like 1994.
