  Winning three games in the playoffs means only that. Sorry to burst yuor bubble but unless we make this a double elimination tournament and do away with regions, there are teams already out of the playoffs that have the right to claim they are better than teams that are left based on who the lost to and how strong they feel that team is. The four semi-final teams are not necessarily the four best teams. It just don't work that way.

  Gonna be pretty quit around here about this time tomorrow. Break out the blowers and the shovels and get that field clean.

and since Mount Union went through the easiest region, they clearly aren't one of the best......great logic.  football's not a game of whining about bad seeding in the playoffs-win or go home

Excuse us there AO--- But the last time anyone checked Mount Union owns 9 National Championships.  Prior to this year's run through the cupcakes (Central excluded), Bethel's playoff record was 0-4......seems like they knew that go home part well.

I actually laughed out loud when I read that line about making this a a double elimination tournament.  Nothing like playing football until February to decide the national title.  I realize that the post was in jest, and it was hysterical.

excuse my sarcasm fellas, but you apparently didn't catch it anyways---Yes, Mount Union is #1--but if you try to look at their body of work as some have looked at Bethel's victories-you wouldn't necessarily put them at #1---you'd have to put a bigger factor on margin of victory.

No trip to Alliance for me this weekend.  You should remember that I am a neutral observer that didn't go to Bethel and clearly has no bias whatsoever.

please try not to make your decisions about the fans of bethel based on AO.  He didn't go to bethel, rather a umac school called northwestern down the road.  He has a dellusional view that the bethel team is a world beater, and I don't think he understands what mount union means.  While I'm proud as can be that bethel made it this far, I know they're going to have their hands full and more, and I have a great deal of respect for all that mount has done.
I do think that bethel will give you more of a game than you've had so far this year, could be completely wrong, but they're a solid squad, I just don't know that they have the horses to beat muc.

We don't have a few offensive weapons...we have a weapons system! The whole fricking team has to be scary to play against even if it's just by reputation alone. This team did what it was supposed to do as the #1 team in the nation...nuked every opponent into submission. I do not see that changing because Bethel has a running game or is willing to punch us in the nose.

It looks like AO needs to hit the free throw line in practice as hard as he hits these boards.  On the issue of having no bias----if being stained with as much DNA from Bethel as Monica was from Bill doesn't make you biased, I don't know what would.....you are as big a jock sniffer as there is for Bethel.
