Boy, I hope the weather doesn't suck Saturday between 4 and 7PM!  :-\
It is what it is, I guess.  May the best team win.

I don't know if I can listen to Pam again.  Put the TV on mute and listen to Ric on the radio.

Is Ric on the internet?  I don't think the station will be broadcast down here to Tampa.  :)

Great Option!!  I'll have to pause the DVR to make up for the delay.  :)

kirasdad:    I'm not going to make it.  It's a 12-13 hour drive each way, which means 24-26 on the road to be back to work on Monday.  Where are you going to watch the game?  Matt will have it on at the Trinity Beef O'Brady's.  I watched it there last year with a bunch of OSU and Florida guys giving them a hard time about the fact that these teams actually played their way to the game against the top 32 teams in the nation.  I'll email you later this morning.

at least Bill Curry seemed excited about the game and loved Mt. Union....

Although I hate to say nice things about whats left of the Akron Beacon Journal,

there is a great article on Mount Union fans on the front page of today's paper featuring Ric, the WRMU radio guys and my classmate Steve Stone.
Also Runyr, and Rscl70's classmate

The Purple Suit are in there as well. They are in a class of their own

See a lot of you in Salem tomorrow, I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't left for Salem yet.

Kmic for Heisman, at least he's a Junior

Mike Gottfried was the analyst who had issues partnered with Pam Ward last year for the Stagg Bowl.  They did the radio broadcast the following week of the Papa Johns. Com Bowl and toward the end of the game he had period of slurred speech and slight confusion.  A couple days later on a local sports talk show the host, a former player who played for Coach Gottfried explained that the coach was having some health concerns which lead to the periods of confusion and slurred speech.

Coach Gottfried has Ohio roots and an extensive knowledge of football throughout the midwest.  Prior to his broadcast career he is best known as the head coach at Pitt.  A friend of mine knew him from his days coaching in the Bucyrus (OH) area in the 60's.  I always enjoy his insights.  He frequently refers to old OH and Western PA high school and college coaches and players.

Seventies...don't worry, I haven't let yet either.  Probably about 9 or so tomorrow morning, although I'm only a couple hours away.   You asked for it last week, but how about it again this week: sixty for seventies?   :)

My wife is sending 55 Buckeyes for the Stone Station goodie table, that's her guess, but maybe Kevin and I could make a banner at the Baymont tonight. I'm a Junior High teacher, it couldn't be that hard to find that stuff around here. :D

3 Cubed + 1

I'm gone as soon as school is out. and BTW, that can't happen soon enough for me or my students. :-\
