If you are feeling ill, why don't you think about the hundreds of wins,,not the few losses.,,,get over it, .!!!!!!Some of us who were very close to the game have !!!

Happy Fourth of July to everyone on the board.  Remember our troops and why we have the freedoms that we enjoy.  Let's bring them home safely.

Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

reality check

Unless you were on the field that day, I doubt you feel quite the same way that buffalosabres does about that.  Not everyone on this board was a fan on that day, some were wearing pads and helmets when that Hail Mary was brought in ending the Raiders 2004 season.

I would imagine that if I was a member of that team, I wouldn't take much solace from the fact that MUC had other championships to remember and fall back on.  The 96, 97, 00, etc rings wouldn't keep me from wanting that pass to fall harmlessly to the ground.

Happy 4th to everyone!!!

Reality check....,,I know how that loss felt,,, and not from a fans view point,,I have seen that film 30 or 40 times and I know what stunt would have worked too after looking at the films .I know how the players felt after that game,,and how the coaches did too,,you are right about not all posters being just fans,,,,,,

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

I am pretty sure that beenhit2hard and theebuffalosabers were both on the field that day.

and I believe that thee buff saber was an all OAC pic a couple times also,, so he did not seem to finish his career vs UMHB

Beenhit knows a lot more about the UMHB game and the MUC defense than anyone and is being quite modest and circumspect in his responces.Fact is ,we didnt get a first down in the fourth quarter. There was a fullback named Miller from either Orville or Dover who LK felt played the fullback position as well as anyone we've ever had.Ibeh was exciting carrying the ball for the wrong reasons.Matt Campbell's dad,Rick, deserves some consideration at TE.He started as a freshman under KW who didn't play freshmen.

For those of you around the Alliance area involved in High School Sports...

In case you missed it, my Dad officially retired from West Branch High School on Monday, June 30th.

38 years at one place.  Wow...

I don't think he knows what to do with himself.  He has called me twice this weekend.  I usually got about 2 calls a month from him...

apparently EA Sports must read the D3 boards...Pierre Garcon has a celebration rating of 95 on Madden 09 that and jumping rate highest on the Colts

purple,
Great thought on Brian "the amish barn" Miller from Orrville. He did everything thing that a fullback should do, block like no ones buisness, catch the ball out of the backfield, and grind out some hard yards. Brians biggest asset was his knowledge and understanding of the game, he always played smart. The reason i initially picked Ibeh was because of his blocking ability, but Miler is the all around player.

And for those of you talking about the UMB Game

As a freshman in a Thursday pre-practice meeting, a senior stood up and read a letter from a past player (who's last game was against Rowan in the semi's) The letter talked about the feelings that group of seniors a year after their loss. It was one of the few things that bothered him about his life. I believe the last line he wrote was something like this: I can still remember the players from Rowan making snow angels on the field, don't let your senior year end like that, because it is one thing you will never forget.
With that being said my last game too was against MHB. About once a day if not more I think about how it felt to walk off that field that day. To know that offensively I don't think we had a first down the entire fourth quarter, the snap off of the TE's leg, and the poor position we put our defense in all game (yes I can claim these things because I played offense) As much as all of these things hurt, I know there wasn't a single player out there that didn't give there all. To me that brings some comfort.
Though our last game was a loss, it doesn't erase the championships, the wins, and the friendships. Yes, daily I think of that loss and the loss to St. John's, but those two memories will never drown out all of the great experiences I had and it will never allow me to think any differently of my teammates or myself.

overlook..Terrance Mooring has a chance to be considered among the best.He can catch, block and has real running talent. He is certainly as talented a player as has played fullback at MUC.I expect we will see big things from him this year.

section13raiderfan

To all those players who post on here who played in the MHB playoff loss, dont take it personally. We all still feel the regret of missing out on the lost chance for another championship because we still feel you deserved to be there. so close, yet.....well,so close. Do any of you players feel that the coaches went conservative with the offense to protect their lead instead of pouring it on to extend their lead? Or do you feel MHB just took back the game from sheer determinaion?  The only reason I ask is because I hate it when a coach tries to sit on a narrow lead and puts the offense into a less aggresive mode to limit mistakes and makes the opposing team look like it is making a comeback.  There is a fine line between playing to win, and playing not to lose. If it sounds like I still hate Belichek for coaching the Browns that way.......I DO!  Just wondering.

And I believe also that Smithvilles Miller was probably a better FB  than Ibeh, all things considered. Bur Ibeh was pretty good also.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!
