    Sporting news D.III  1. Mount 2. W&J
    Anybody with thoughts?

Either the guy writing that is smoking crack or he left off a "0" from the W&J ranking and really meant 20th.

The Pride of Otterbein, Matt D'Orazio is headed back to the Arena Bowl.  This time he takes the Philadelphia Soul after tossing 8 TD's to 0 INT's in the semifinal game.  He already has one Arena Bowl title under his belt when he led the Chicago Rush to a title.  I might actually tune into game because of the OAC ties.  Best of luck to him.

Yes, good luck to D'Orazio in the AB Championship game.  That is incredible - one title already and a shot at another one.  A great plug/inspiration for all former DIII fb players.
Go Matt D'Orazio.

Rankings:
Somebody's got to fill the two slot.  Maybe the writer has an association with W&J.  Or maybe he saw a playoff team coached by a Mount Union grad and decided what the hey.

I am going with the smokin crack explanation.

Story about B J Payne's high school team as well as the North Central All-Star Classic:

Reflecting on an all-star football night

BJ has gray in his beard. Now I really do feel old.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Wow, BJ looks different.  No offense, but some guys age better than others.  Example: Vince Kehres looks to me much the same now as he did 10 years ago in College.

Maybe it's the gray, or maybe its that I'm not looking at his face through a facemask and he doesn't have eye black smeared all over his face.   ;)

Man, it's dead in here.  I can't wait for football season!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

overlook..Terrance Mooring has a chance to be considered among the best.He can catch, block and has real running talent. He is certainly as talented a player as has played fullback at MUC.I expect we will see big things from him this year.

Hmmmm,  check http://www.mtunionfootball.com/ in a few days for info.

Been checking every day and nothing has changed since the June 1st posting about football camp. What's up?  (or is it a secret :-X)

Another late night post--

Seems that football camp at MUC got more than a little interesting this evening--Hall and staff get points for attempting to break up the skirmish--I wonder why the kid who punched the Massillon coach didn't get arrested for assault--in fact I wonder why several of the boys who participated weren't arrested--do we have a different standard for civil behavior between human beings when they happen to be athletes?

I think that every kid that was involved should have their parents called and they should be made to come to Alliance and remove their child from the camp.  I think the involved thugs should also be suspended from playing for a significant amount of the season.

And don't anyone dare give me the "boys will be boys" line of cr@p.

Read about it here:

Let me change that--I think that the parents should have to go to the Stark County jail and bail their "student-athletes" out and then take them home--and then they should be suspended from the team.

Let me guess.....Euclid was not having success on the football field and decided to get even off the field when the refs were gone? The goal of the camp was "TEAM BUILDING" ...not gang banging!  You guys think Euclid has a shot at the playoffs? Sheesh! :o ???  How many of these kids have a shot of playing for LK after this?   I bet that was the first time Jack Rose was on the bottom of the pile in 35 years too! ;)
