Garcon looked really good last night.....Lorenzen however looks like a D3 offensive lineman.  Good Lord mix in some veggies.
Amen on Lorenzen.  He looked like the 13+ lb baby they mentioned.  He was forcing throws because he couldn't react fast enough.  Being a lefty, he seemed to favor right side of the field and Pierre was wideout left during the series, so he didn't get the looks from Lorenzen.  In 2nd Q, Quinn Gray seemed to like to throw to Pierre.

From the Canton Rep:
http://www.cantonrep.com/index.php?Category=17&ID=424164&r=12&subCategoryID=

Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy said Garcon is performing well in workouts and earned his spot on the field....."He's done it in practice," Dungy said. "We are seeing good things. He is showing he belongs."........"He's shown us that he can do some of those things (in practice)," Dungy said. "That he showed them again here is a good sign."

Good to hear Dungy is happy with Garcon so far!

I saw Lorenzen two years ago at Applebee's in Crestview Hills, KY.  The Brewtus glass looked miniature in his grubby hands.  I believe the beer drinking and whatnot is whats put the hefty into the Colts Lefty.

Looks like we might be seeing him again in Northern Kentucky real soon..

I thought Pierre acquitted himself very well in the game last night.  He certainly didn't look out of place.

Listening to the Indy sports radio stations this afternoon, he has some positive buzz from the fans and the hosts, so his momentum is positive, especially after reading the aforementioned quotes from Dungy.  I would say if he continues to progress, he will be on the roster when the Bears come to town in September.

I'm confident PG's blocking abilities were attractive to the Colts for some time now! Outstanding out of the block start. It sure would have been nice to experience it live. Kirasdad-- I live in SoCal now. Just got back from Ocala, don't miss the humidity ;D  Enjoyed watching Jr. coaching the OL. Hope your 1st season is enjoyable as well. Keep us posted!

I always liked that Garcon was an eager blocker when the ball was not in his hands as a Raider. I hope that trait transfers well to his pro game. It could be what keeps him around in the final analysis.

Now what about this "acquittal"? What was Pierre charged with and who filed the charges? Interesting choice of words there! ;)

Any MUC scrimmages comming up I can attend? Im getting antsy. :)

As much as I dont like Frenchy for torching the Cardinals in 2004 and 2007, I am pulling for him.  He looked pretty good last night.  Hope he makes an impact and I'll be looking forward to him going up against buffalo in a couple weeks.

Just keep him away from the Pacers, and he should be OK.  Although it appears the housecleaning there is almost complete - just need to pay Tinsley to go away.

Now if I had used the word acquitted with respect to a Penn State rookie, all bets would be off.

Thanks for the local info.

Superfoot Wallace

Whoever commented Oldsmobile wasn't producing anymore failed to recognize Garcon's 4.42 forty time.  Of course Studebaker is still being produced, albeit in Philadelphia and not Indianapolis or Ontario.

Interesting to see Otterbein getting some love from the coaches.  And how little BW is getting.

Hmmm, pretty darn close the predicted finish in our preview  ;D

Mr. Ypsi

Interesting that TWO coaches left MUC off the top - one obviously is Coach K (would he have voted for ONU or Cap?); speculation on the other one?

In the media poll, have the two Bald Wally voters been drug-tested?  Especially since they either both voted MUC for 3rd, or one voted them 4th! ???

section13raiderfan

Perhaps the 3rd or 4th place votes were because MUC is rebuilding the lines. Some are probably hoping it takes a while for the linemen to "unitize" and there may be some hope for exploiting the inexperience and stealing an early win from the Raiders before they iron out all the kinks. I say IF they struggle in the first half of the first game.....they will get it right by the second half. If not...well, they have two weeks to drag LKs foot out of somebodys arses. Then, I pity opponent #2. If by chance SJF does come out on top, will ONU come in drooling expecting to hit em while they are down?.......or will MUC be looking to prove something and take it out on Da Bears? This could be interesting. Tee it up already!!!
