If we could keep their receivers in check and play the run like we're capable of, we knew we had a chance," said Baldwin-Wallace head coach John Snell afterwards.

Dear Coach Snell: You also need some offense. Something beyond quarterback keeper left, quarterback keeper right. Whose your O coordinator, Red Grange?
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

You forgot the alley oop pass to the taller, leaping end.

And the two shovel passes and the fake punt. Please don't keep me started.

PS My personal congratulations to "Rocky and his band of underachievers" as I described them earlier in the week. You certainly didn't bury Northern with offense, but defense seems to have been the name of the game in the OAC this week.

JCU is leading at the half 19-6.

I'll start by congratulating Cap on a game well played today.  I thought after last week's win the team we saw play today had disappeared.  We got dominated on both lines.  The defense came together when it had to but the offense just couldn't keep it together.  I was hoping to make some play-off games while I was still in the US but it seems like that's out now :(
And for the students, another full drawer of clean undies!

raiderguy

I heard there was a Reginald and Margaret sighting....any truth to that.

A full house? For such and important game.

What the heck was last weeks then?

Oh the weather was fair.

Or BW traveled well.

That's ok I also read there was a live fan sighting in the South end of the stands. Isn't that the band and some of the students?
No clean undies this week?

Congratulations to the Raiders. BW appears to have played a little tough and Mount sounds like they were still in the funk from last week.

Say the Buckeyes put a hurt on the Gophers today and that was a nice switch to see the "O" have a good game. The D was a little flat but the win was nice.

Cheering was amazing. Plenty of Scarlet and Grey in the stands and with the cheerleaders direction we definitly made plenty of noise. I know the people looking at the OSU sections because of all the noise.

Tec Ginn with a 100 yd KO return was a thing of beauty.

Let most of the air out of the Dome roof. Maybe the Raiders can buy the Dome from Minnesota if they ever build the Gophers a new outdoor stadium. Good price on a used baggy.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Yes , there was a littel more NOISE in that section 2 area of the covered stand as I was in there getting a few to get off their posteriors' to do a little yelping with the cheerleaders.  The thundersticks were a great idea, though oxygen was needed in most the geriatic sections to get them either filled up or resusitate those that tried to blow them up!!

Reginald was found at halftime knocked out by a plastic football a cheerleader had coldcocked him with. Margaret was unaware it happened until the game was over!

Still trying to figure why BW doesn't take 1 shot at the endzone with 10 seconds before half. Guess they felt  the double TRES at half was a a moral victory...go figure!

Good job Raiders D,... Stickley and crew bailout another week of the offense trying to figure itself out.  One thing is for sure Kmic needs more PT!!!

props to George "foxskin" Wiemer, going solo on the push up brigade and the howls!  Excellent job !!

JCU continues on their winning streak, winning 32-6.  Next weeks game should be alot of fun.

cufan

Congrats to CU and JCU ....looking forward to the showdown next week.  Caps defense played another great game, even with 3 starters out.  Offense had plenty of opportunities but just couldn't get in the endzone.

wow! what a Match up next week, should really be a blast there! Congrats to both teams today, sure making the season interesting until the finish!

First time to the new stadium....outstanding.  What a great environment for a college football game.  Both crowds were really into just a lot of fun!

Reality Choke,  where are you on the board?  I guess that Dean Paul's ridiculous hair plugs didn't inspire the troops today.  I think the biggest factor in Mount's struggling lately is how tough the Capital game was.  That physical game took a lot out of them.  JCU got the complete team and played like deer in headlights.  I am glad that ONU appealed the ruling because now that it is in appeal, they would have been clear for the playoffs this year while it was in the process.  The ruling will take affect next season because of the length of the process and won't be overturned.  Thus they will not be able to go next year either.  ONU has always found a way to screw themselves for years.  This year takes it to a new level.  What a let down in Ada.
