JK

Cap forces a FG attempt that JCU misses from 32.

Still 7-3 JCU.

Assmann is hurt, Nick Alexander is taking over.

JK

Alexander gets sacked and fumbles, JCU takes over at Cap's 18.

THis is ugly so far.  Assmann went into the locker room already.  Not sure if we'll see him again tonight.

JK

ALexander throws a pick that JCU returns to the Cap 3 with 12 seconds left before half.

JK

Cap holding JCU to FG's on the short field.

13-3 JCU at the half.

JK

At halftime, the Crusaders have 4 turnovers (3 INTs and 1 fumble), 6 penalties, and only 5 first downs.

JK

Cap's 5th turnover on the first drive of the second half.  FUmble at JCU's 18.

JK

Now, breaking news...

Capital turns the ball over again, their sixth of the day.

D'Andrea fumbles at the JCU 38 on a 3rd and 1 play.

This is brutal.

JK

More breaking news...

Cap's 7th turnover, an INT by Alexander at the JCU 34.

JK

Wow!

Cap forces a JCU turnover.  Has a short field to work with at the JCU 40.

Mr. Ypsi

SEVEN TOs already - ouch! :o

(On the other hand, I'm strongly considering Ott @ Cap for the CCIW 'game of interest' next week - I'm sure I'll get much closer to equal picks if Cap loses! ;))

JK

Cap has 1st and goal at the JCU 4, gets to the JCU 1 and gets another false start penalty and then misses the 22 yard FG...

JK

Cap's 8th turnover with about 4 mins left in the game.

You can about close the book on this one.

Cap had 9 total turnovers in the first 5 games...

JK

Cap has held JCU to negative yards in the second half, but keep killing themselves with turnovers and penalties.

JK

Cap turns the ball over for the 9th time, another fumble by the backup QB.

2:30 left in the game...

JK

JCU actually got back above positive yards in the second half.  They finished with 3 yards in the second half.

Cap's defense really stepped it up and tried to keep them in it, but you don't EVER win with 9 turnovers.

Cap finishes the game with a 222 to 103 edge in total yards, but aside from the aforementioned 9 FREAKING TURNOVERS also had 10 penalties, and it seems like every one was on 3rd down and short.

THEY HAD 9 FREAKING TURNOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Pete Ankrom had a heck of a game... 11 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble.  Eric Andriacco was also all over the field for Cap, but...

THEY HAD NINE FREAKING TURNOVERS!!!!!!!

I think I am going to go have a coronary.

9 TURNOVERS!!!
