Looks like Cap will fall out of the top 25 for the first time in a while.

If the Otters play like they did today, they'll give MUC a pretty good game.  Of course, MUC has a way of making good games and teams look bad.

reality check

Looks like Marietta wins 30-22 on 13 points in the 4th quarter.  The backup for Marietta comes in and goes 5-5 passing for 2 TD's.

BW leads Berg 34-31 according to the scoreboard but I can't get an audio feed on my Mac.

OT in Berea...

Berg kicks a FG.  BW comes back, 4th and goal from inside the 1 for the Jackets.  QB sneak.

Berg's radio crew doesn't have a clue who won.  There was a fumble.  There's discrepancy between whether or not the QB got the ball across the plain.  Apparently it was knocked loose when the QB extended.  Not sure if he was across the line.

After officials confer.....

STUDENT PRINCES WIN!!!  37-34 in Berea.

Great for Heidi, bad for me.  I picked both Cleveland area OAC schools this week!  Makes me ashamed to be Cleveland native (again).  :'(

WOW, Ott must be for real, did Assman play the entire game? i just got back in today and was checking scores.
BTW

WHITEWATER gets tripped up 17-16 by UW-Stevens Point! not necessarily a shocker as Stevens Point is playing decent this year but being at Whitewater surely an upset.
Looks like MHB will get moved into #2 spot.

my bad, I see Marty was out.

Got your wish, sure makes for a big showdown in two weeks with MUC vs. Ott. Great call on the game today, you and Ric both.

reality check

In addition to the news on Hallett's contract extension, Heidelberg voted and announced today that starting next year they will be Heidelberg University.  Big news weekend for the Berg.

I was at a MUC/JCU game in Cleveland when MUC had a big lead and JCU had yet to score. As i walked from the home side to the away side a person walking in front of me called over to the cannon tender and told him it was too bad he wasnt going to get to shoot off his cannon that day. About 30 seconds later they fired it off anyway. I asked the guy what that was for as JCU did not score. The guy said there was 2 ways to unload the cannon and that was the quick way.  ;D Even though the game was not over....they started dragging the cannon away. Musta had something else to do.

Looks like MHB is down for the time being.

But they're playing a NAIA school ... shouldn't hurt them too much.

Won't hurt at all in the eyes of the NCAA, but should hurt greatly in the poll since SOU is 2-5 with losses to Willamette and Linfield.

I am not trying to be a jerk here and have a serious question.

If the WIAC is the premier conference in DIII, then why was a 5-1 UW-Stevens Point team not even ranked in the Top 25?  I'm sure they'll get some votes this week for knocking off UW-WW, but UW-RF was ranked with two losses.  Is it because of the strength of UW-SP opponents is not up to par?

Look at UW-Stevens Point's schedule and point out the big win before today.

Who care about Whitewater?

Excuse me for shouting but,

CONGRATULATIONS TO HEIDELBERG and WAY TO GO COACH MIKE

You don't know how hard it was to listen to the end of the JCU v Heidelberg game, trying to turn my head with this plastic collar so my ears could get close to the crappy speakers on my laptop.

Although it's still 6 years away, but my Kevin is allowed to talk to two schools in the OAC now.

Many thanks Mike ;)

I think I asked that question:

You didn't answer the question, you asked it. :)
