Heaven forbid Otterbein should lose to Wabash or CWRU!  :o

I see no shame in losing a game as long as you give your best effort, regardless of the conference that team is from.

I hate to sound like such a prick on this subject, but for an OAC team to lose to Case would be a HUGE disgrace for the conference.  Case has had a nice run the last couple years, but they're not at the same level physically.

Wabash is pretty good and would probably be a great test for the 2nd OAC team, if not favored over them, but their team and fans are way beyond annoying.  And the NCAC as a whole is made up of teams that left the OAC because they were sick of losing.....oops, 'wanted to focus on academics".....  Hence the "don't lose to a NCAC team" sentiment.

It's been such a long time since we've done this dance.  I feel like Clemenza in The Godfather.  You've gotta have a good war every few years to get rid of all the bad blood.  Classic stuff, hscoach.

Toph:  Nice Godfather reference.   +k

For me, the only thing that could have been better than the Godfather would have been a Monty Python quote.......  Something like:

"CRWU70, please leave before I taunt you for a second time"
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I found this video clip that I wanted to share from the Mount/OTT game this past weekend.  Even more compelling then the few scores they decided to show was the intensity during the pre-game celebration.

Too funny that #52 for Otterbein (not dressed for the game) is in the front, talking smack and dancing around.

Yeah...that #52 really stands out in the video.  I was not there on Saturday...but I've seen teams flagged for less during pre-game antics in the past.  It appears that Otterbein was well inside the Mount side of the 50...maybe inside the 40...and if you notice...the OTT players were not celebrating with one another... they were ALL staring over to the Mount sidelines and intentionally attempting to start something...that probably should have been flagged.

That might've done them some good. A 15-yard unsportsmanlike to start the game means Otterbein would likely have started on its own 20 after Mount kicks the ball out the back of the end zone.

True, then no fumble of the KO and they might go down and score and go UP 7-0.

What's the closest airport to Greenwood, Indiana?
They should have practiced harder.

I need a bigger screen (or higher resolution) so kirasdad's signature can appear on one line.

I agree that Otterbein was "starring" down Mt. Union before the game, but, to be honest, they go to that same spot and run through the paper every game. I'm sure emotion got the best of them a little this past saturday. No one got into anyone else's face. It's part of the excitment of the game. It was just too bad that all that built up excitment was quickly deflated as a result of the opening kickoff fumble.

I think the moral of the story is win something first...have a pissing contest second.

Wouldn't the importance of his Streaks' game on Saturday bring out the great 4u??

Lets see if we can get him on here by promising a spot interview on the Brienza/Grossman radio show or something..during week 1 of the Playoffs

Some players were making fun of player #52 in class today. Said he was the one instigating the whole situation. lol
