Don't be so ashamed seventies, there have been some great burgers served at those joints over the years and Jeff still serves  pretty mean one at "Da Hood." I heard the Bier Haus has closed as well. Ahhhh the memories of free shrimp on fridays!

I plan on being there for next weeks Thanksgiving game. Hope to see ya there. This week it is off to Whitewater  A G A I N with the Johnnies. I am hoping that phrase...third time is a charm can be invoked.

Go Raiders.

HEy Raiderguy, glad to see you back and hope you're doing well again! Good to see the Johnnies back in the playoff picture too as it seems their defense is doing well just a matter of getting the O on the go against UWW. Good luck on the 3rd attempt!

I too am disappointed with the 11 a.m. start, I thought 4 o'clock was just about perfect.  Nonetheless, I will be arriving at the parking lot in Salem at 7 a.m. to begin the festivities and I have a feeling I won't be alone.  So long as Toph can get away from work in time, I know he'll be joining me as well.
They should have practiced harder.

Anybody got a spread for this week yet?  And, does the scoreboard at Mount go to 100?  I was just looking over RMC schedule and results as well as cumulative stats, and this one has all the makings of something really ugly.

And to make matters worse for RMC, their top RB (2800 yds over last two seasons and top ODAC runner) is doubtful for Saturday's game based on a local news article.

'Arruza said Yellow Jackets running back Zak Thornton, the ODAC rushing champion in each of the past two seasons, appears questionable for the Mount Union game. Thornton sustained a knee injury early in the second half against Hampden-Sydney.'

This isn't like the Patriots of last year where Tom Brady was listed as questionable for every game, is it? ;)

First, no comparison between Wheaton and Wabash fans visiting MUC...From my experience, Wheaton total class...Wabash total fools...Wheaton head coach is also a very class act.  But, It would have been nice to see nephew Raeburn across the sideline from Uncle Larry, even if we had to put up with the Red suspenders

Secondly, Even if one thinks Mount could score a hundred on Saturday, this is the kind of talk that makes people hate the Raiders..
Please demonstrate a little restraint and respect...However, rumor has it that Vegas did refuse to set a spread.

How about we start the tailgate about 4:00 PM on Friday. I'm probably hauling my trailer to Florida so the party is where ever I park.

This is the dumbest NCAA scheduling gaff I've been involved in since they put the Nebraska-Oklahoma game on at 10:00 AM Thanksgiving morning in Lincoln. That was one wierd rolling party down I80 from Omaha.

ALL NIGHT TAILGATE

Raiderpa-Perhaps you wern't around for ThunderMom. More like total xxass
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Seventies,

most posters don't associate Thundermom's rantings with the Wheaton program just like we don't associate yours with Mt Union and LK.  ;D :o

Not to bring up any bad memories... but I remember the St. Johns/MUC Stagg Bowl in 2003 was very early also.  I couldn't make that because my wife had demanded that be our moving day into a new house.  Thus I remember..

Once again Mount Union approaches the playoffs with anticipation. I wonder what R-M will bring. ONU type cowbells, Otterbeins PA Announcer, the yodelers of JCU, blowhorns or something new. I'm sure Ric and Mark will show their broadcast abilities and overcome all adversity.

Mount Union may be good, but you haven't seen anything like our...

Are we really begging for people to start this up? ;D

"Zak Thornton who was lost to an injury at the start of the second-half." During the Randloph-Macon vs Hampden-Sydney game. Seems to be some validity to his injury. Here is the whole article:

"Mathews rushed for 72 yards on 16 carries for R-MC after relieving 1,000 yard rusher Zak Thornton who was lost to an injury at the start of the second-half." Even posted on D3football.com.

One of these days, I'll figure out how to use edit....

Found it.

Great.  A 6-4 team that shouldn't even be in the field (yeah, I know.... AQ) is coming to Alliance without their only offensive threat?   Great.  Sounds like Marietta is going to be a bigger test. >:(
I find easily offended people rather offensive!
