Runyr-Considering I've known you for over forty years, I understand what an accomplishment it is to survive this long.. Happy Birthday and welcome to old age. We're clearly not middle aged any more since I don't know any 120 year old people. Have fun tomorrow. I s/b at the CWRU Wabash game just because I like good football and it s/b be a good game.

Anyway since Wally Wabash insists that every school has 2% obnoxious fans, I'll be trying to find rude fans among the doctors, lawyers and engineers  on the Case sidelines ;D :D 8)

What do you get when you cross a groundhog with a wolverine?

6 more weeks of bad football! ;D

Saturday is another good day to run the ball!!

Will RMC bring a large  following?    I hope so , sometimes there aren't a lot of visitors when they have to come a long way .

For the last 3+ decades you could (rightly or wrongly) use this line, but this year our season mercifully ends tomorrow.

(And, deep down, you'd be pretty disappointed if the Wolverines don't bounce right back and keep the best rivalry in sports alive - though lately it's on life-support. :()

Gad, that's the last time I let work interfere with keeping up with my D-3 reading.  I had 21 pages of posts to read this evening, and the interactive whatchamacallit challenged my inclination to reply belatedly to the LOL "apple cobbler" advice.  Now finally up to speed, I can begin packing the trunk with blankets, down jackets, fleece pull-overs, gloves, scarves, ear muffs, longjohns, cowbells...

Go Raiders!

For the last decade I'm pretty sure Oklahoma-Texas has over shadowed Ohio State - Michigan outside of the afore mentioned states.

Can't speak for everyone but no one and I mean no one talked about OU/Texas in Connecticut.  And even here in AZ, no one (except for my Oklahoma-born coaching colleague) talks about Texas/OU.  There are just way too many midwest transplants in my opinion.  More so than Big 12 transplants anyways.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Would that include just 2-3 years ago when OSU and UM were #1 and #2 in the country entering The Game?! ;)

And the years when OK and/or TX had losing records (something UM last had in 1967)?

In 129 years of football, UM had NEVER lost 8 games in a season (and is still the winningest team of all time) - tomorrow (win or, more probably, lose) the unprecendented disaster ends. :o

Was that the year Urban Meyer taught Tressel a 21st Centruy coaching lesson. :D

If you grow up with Big Eight/Big Twelve football the Big 10+1 is kind of a snooze. Sorry, despite living here most of my life I just don't get the Ohio State thingd unless you went there.

I agree.  I'll watch and root for Ohio State, but for me Case/Wabash is a much bigger game tomorrow than OSU/UM.

Huh?
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.
