I'd like to confess I have been selling JCU short since Mount's visit to the Streaks.  I left that game at halftime. Had I stayed I would have seen that JCU made some fantastic defensive adjustments that held MUC to 28 pts in the second half! It must have been those adjustments that have led to JCU's post-Mount success.
The Cap game should be a real good one today.

B4-I grew up and played in Omaha Nebraska and in the good old days, we took the train to most of our away games. Some of you may have to look that up. Many of the teams in our league were more than 150 miles away. Yet it was a big yellow train. Our kids ask me what it was like "in the day." I'm having trouble pin pointing it to "in the year." :-\

70's-- I think I read about one of those train trips. Didn't you guys get held up by Jesse James one time, but all he got was a bunch of sweaty football equipt?     Enjoy the bus ride today bro! and ROLL~~~~~RAIDERS ;D

Could somebody please turn that guys volume control down! What a booming voice for the Muskies.

I did not get to hear the entire game, but the prodigal offense seems to have found its way home.  Did Kehres call the game?  Did Garcon play?

Ughhh... That's what I get for listening to an entire JCU game.  For our conference's sake, I hope Capital gets in based on wins over JCU and ONU.  Based on the NCAA's history, I doubt they will.  However, both purple teams are deserving,

I will echo the sentiment for what it is worth: Capital deserves a playoff spot.

reality check

I didn't listen to any of the games today.  I went to Yale/Brown instead.  But I want to be the first to say that CAP deserves to go to the playoffs no more and no less than JCU and ONU.  I don't care about CAP beating both JCU and ONU.  Cap's two losses come to teams with records of 13-4 (OTT still to play tonight).  ONU's two losses come to teams with records of 14-4.  JCU's two losses come to teams with records of 15-3.  None of these teams deserves to be in without the other two so none of them should expect to play in the first round of the playoffs.

REALITY CHECK,

I don't care how many posts you have, how many stars you have, or what your karma is.  I don't care what the opponents records are that beat which team.  Cap beating ONU and JCU back to back weeks proves that they do deserve to be in the playoffs.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  In this case your opinion is wrong.  Sorry.

Man I'm glad the Muskies didn't make any more first downs. If I heard that PA announcer one more time I was going to go looking for a sniper rifle. Someone asked about Garcon--dressed but no playing time. LK was stalking the sidelines but wasn't calling the plays. Jorris was throwing very well today. Kmic got alot of playing time and that kid is not easy to bring down. The no huddle offense was a good change of pace--give post-season opponents something else to prepare for.
Sorry to see JCU lose today. To be where they were in week nine after that early season drubbing is remarkable. An 8-2 OAC team probably has little chance of getting to the NCAA, especially if Augie wins. But if the committee wants a 2nd OAC team I'd suggest they take Ott rather than one of the tied three.

HEY, YALE/ BROWN ??? how were the tea and crumpets today? Was the backgammon match up at halftime good? ;D HEHEHEHE, just bustin' ya dude, hope you had a good time!
Obviously Mount rolled but wow the change up to a no huddle and other adjustments sure throws some new weapons in LK's arsonal, I mean when Garcone gets back, WATCH OUT!!  :o

I didn't say they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.  I said they deserve to be in no more than ONU or JCU and for that reason none of them will get a Pool C.

I get paid to watch the game so it's not a bad gig.  I was however throroughly disappointed by the lack of croquet and smoking jackets at the tailgate.

Man did that announcer get a littel out of hand or what!  I thot at least the muskies would get one freakin' score to keep the 38.5 margin, they're pathetic!! Maybe by the way the PA announcer was making the calls for first dwons he thought they were winning. Geeez Muskies, somehow work a pass play into the offense, I mean they could have sent their lone wideout to get PIZZA and would have never missed him in the huddle!!!  Will admit the changes made to Muskingum's field and sprucing up of the stands, sure made some major imporvements, but with the carpet man, THROW THE FREAKIN" BALL!!! ::)

RC
NO smoked salmon???  Awww man, scrap it!  Not sure what the connection to Muskingum is but the PA announcer kept announcing the scores to the LEHIGH/GEORGETOWN game, was something significant there?  maybe that's where the Smoke salmon was today!
