We now have a Packard and a Tressel award but still no Wable Award.

Umm... in case you are wondering who the simple-minded buffoon is who picked Hobart to score more than 21pts in the OAC poll, that would be me.  :-\ ::)   I haven't had my coffee yet and misread the question.

I thought it was a poll on how much MUC would win by... I obviously scanned the question rather than actually read it completely.

On the off chance anyone cares about the opinion of someone who doesn't even read the question right... I'd say Hobart scores 7 this weekend.

I updated the Poll to reflect your vote.  :)

Ha... very nice.  ::) ;D  Given the mockery I endure over on the CCIW board, this makes me feel right at home.

Actually, there is a Ken Wable award. It is a post-graduate scholarship award. I am not sure of the exact criteria for the award. It is an academically based award. I do not know if it is limited to a football player or not. I can only speak of my experience and it was awarded to the senior with the highest GPA. I assumed that was the criteria, but am not sure.

I remember the games with Hobart . The game at Hobart was astonishing to us because there was a beer tent inside the stadium and people were drinking large beers . Never saw that before.  We were also told their star running back was gay.

.....I hope hscoach doesn't read this.

Nice.  +k ;)
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Heading north to Ohio this afternoon.  Sadly, I won't be able to stay around long enough to watch the game  (my fiance has to work Sunday so we have to drive back to NC Saturday).  I told her this may be a deal breaker...  ;)
They should have practiced harder.

Does this explain the single-digit result on the 'ol ACT??

Has nothing to do with ACT score... It is attributed to reading too quickly at work and making a simple mistake.

Congrats to Coach Loth, Coach Doup, and the 15 OC players who were named All-OAC. Great season for all the players. Nothing to be ashamed of

Mugsy would never have been admitted to the North Central graduate program with a single digit ACT score. :D :D :D 10 is as low as they go ...  :o

Scary things is... there is a good chance I would not be admitted to Wheaton undergrad programs today with the ACT score I had 20+ years ago.  28 puts you on the border nowadays.

Anyway... enough of the ACT posts.  Back to playoff talk.  :-\

We don't mind the playoff guests.  Please quit Quoting Every Post though.  It is such a bother to scroll up and down the thread to read mindless banter.  LOL
