Small but Slow

SJF - I've been following Post Patterns off and on for about six years now.  A couple times each year a disgruntled fan of an opponent that can't quite match up with MUC on the field cries "foul" (accuses MUC of cheating, the OAC of being weak, and Raider fans of everything short of throwing ice balls at Santa.
THANK YOU!  As long as we continue to make the playoffs and compete for the national championship we will be happy to accept your humorous barbs.  I completely understand.  If my team had been soundly beaten by the same team to end last season and begin this one and had struggled to a disappointing season I might feel the need to pound a liter of George Dickel and start making outrageous claims against my nemesis. out!

I am quite new to posting, but have been an occasional reader of "Post Patterns" for several years.

The SJF fella is a bitter, whiney, loser...I can't believe he keeps coming back for more!

One thing I didn't catch was what seventiesraider meant when he said that SJF must have gone "Wabash"?  Was there a Wabash fan that whacked out at some point on MU?

I was at the Wabash/MU game a few years ago...and came away with nothing but excellent impressions of not only the MU players, coaches and football team, but the fans and college as well.  (I also came away with the sting of getting whipped by a top notch program)

Sorry Caveman, the reference was more directed at past 'bash posters and somewhat similar illogical banter, not the whole Wabash nation.

QuoteHe also visited Rockhill Elementary School to spend time reading to children and visiting many of the teachers he got to know as part of the Raider Buddy system he participated in while at Mount Union.

Joan Skidmore, a third-grade teacher at Rockhill, told The Review that Garcon was "his usual humble self" and was "happy to see the children."

I had never met Garcon in person, but I find that quote "his usual humble self" rather amusing.    :D

+k for the George Dickel reference.  That brightened up my Saturday morning.   ;D
They should have practiced harder.

Save me a spot in the brunch line. I'm allowed to drive again. It's a little cold for the Harley or the Triumph. Yes Dean T I still have a garage full of motorcycles. There's no side porch at the SAE house anymore

Congratulations on being back on the road again, Seventies. You're a fast healer!

As you mention these places, I can still smell Miller Hall from my brother's (MUC '74) college days :'(,  and I spent one or two overnights in the SAE House as well on my weekend visits.

Careful you don't cause a cervical relapse diving  for one of those little foam footballs today!

seventies and kehresma:

Oh, so you guys had those kind of historic halls on campus like we did (most of which still exist) at Hope!!!  Indeed, some great "smells" are recalled, others not so good ::) :P ;D (in fact quite foul, disgusting, etc., etc. ;D).  Anyway, thanks for a real quick trip down memory lane :D.  I can "stomach it" right now since, unlike seventies, I didn't eat breakfast this AM - never do!

BTW seventies, glad to hear you are recovering well.  Just remember (and take this from someone who knows), don't overdo it - take it easy "on the road back to "normalcy").

Also, good luck to your guys' team today.  Are you guys predicting a huge blowout today or do you think Hobart will have a respectable showing against MUC, perhaps better than some of the team?  Looks like today's weather will be decent.

Tons and tons of respect for MUC and it's fans! Although toph I made a mistake on LLPP saying you were an MUC fan not noticing the huge JCU banner under your name. Good luck today to both teams! Bart represent the LL and enjoy this great opportunity to play the best! Prediction: Bart 10, MUC 45 How do you shut down Kmic and Micheli at the same time? Tough job for anyone!

Let's Go Pumpkin Heads!!!!

Anyone know of any live video feeds online of Bart MUC? I have only been able to locate audio.
