The only reasons I go home to Alliance (birthplace) are football, funerals and to put to flowers on graves (best combined with football)

The trip to campus made me feel "old".
Going through ADA can make anyone feel OLD!  ;D

Grandma gave me one more gift.  She got me away from my in-laws for five days who have been visiting PHX from Ohio for two weeks now.

And regarding weather, we were driving back from Ada on 75 when the weather got a little ugly Monday night.  There was some black ice to contend with and my mother asked if I was okay driving in this (since I'm now an Arizonian).  I said I could handle it.  About two minutes later in the Sidney area, a car traveling northbound lost control, spun into the median, across both lanes of southbound traffic directly in my path and slammed into the fence row fifty feet off the highway.  I was glad I saw it early and avoided what could have been my own funeral but it didn't exactly make me think, "Man, moving back to Ohio sounds a lot better than living in Arizona."

My.. things move fast here during the playoffs.

16 pages in five days.  And not more than two posts were from the actual game so most of it was non-game day drivel.  That was unusual, especially for the playoffs.  But like a good poster, I read each and every page before I posted a word yesterday.

Thanks to all for your kind thoughts and well wishes.

Word on the street is that the OAC is now allowing coaches to make home and school visits of student-athletes.  Any thoughts on how this will help OAC teams?
