Small but Slow

UWW @ UMHB broadcast is very high quality as well.  Thank you D3 football.com!  You guys are awesome!

My sincerest congrats to Mount Union.  Another dominating display of football, particularly the offensive line.

Wheaton had no answers to any facet of the MUC offense - over 600 yards offense is sick.

Best of luck next week, but as always... I'm not sure you need it.

Wheaton will continue to battle, to strive to get better and take another shot at the best.

Congrats, Nate Kmic and Kudos to the MUC O-Line.  Amazing.. especially when you consider all the GREAT RB's in NCAA  football history.

Congrats to Mt. Union for once again ending my alma mater's run in the playoffs.  Maybe one of these days we'll get you, but today showed once again that we have some work to do before that can happen.

Great play by the OL, QB and Kmic.  The D also came up with stops when it needed to - almost predictably when things got tight and it was a key down, your guys just whipped someone and came up with a big sack, etc.  As usual, you guys answered almost every score and made your opponent pay for just about every mistake.  Another clinic in winning football.  Living near Salem, VA I've gotten used to seeing your team play in the Stagg Bowl (I've only missed a couple since 1996).  Looking forward to seeing you down here again next weekend.

Congrats Purple Raiders and congrats to Nate Kmic on a record breaking career. What a privilege to have been able to watch Nate over the past 4 years. Just incredible!

WOW and I got to see it in person.  It truly has been an honor and privilege to have watched Nate run for four years.  He deserves this honor more than anyone.  He is an outstanding young man as well.  I hope for all the best for him in the future.  He is simple an amazing football player.   Congrats to Mt.'s team as this was a team effort.    The Thunder have a good team and they played with all they had.   A class act from Wheaton.   Bring on the Warhawks.   Rumble in the jungle act 4.   I will wear my Kmic for Heisman t shirt with more pride than before.   Football history was made today and no one should diminish this achievement.

Given the events of today, here is a new question:

Can Kmic go over 300 in the Stagg to get over 3,000 for the season?

No one has ever done that.  The guy who's record Kmic just broke for career yards, Danny Woodhead, has the highest single season mark- 2,756 in 2006.  After today, Kmic is second in that category with his 2,702.  Barry Sanders is third with 2,628 in 1988.  He didn't get the benefit of playoffs, so that number is very impressive, an average of 238.9 yards per game.

It was great getting to witness history today.  Kudos to the Wheaton QB.  That dude took shot after shot, and just kept coming.

Wesleydad!  See you down in Salem next week.  I catch up with you on here later in the week to get your details.

Stone Station...........WE ARE COMING!  (I know you are SO excited....)   ;D

Looks like it will be UWW in the Stagg and we saw what they did last year.  I would be satisfied with Championship #10 and let the stats fall where they may.
