I know a win's a win, but VK can't be too pleased with his unit.

Final stats from UWW:

455 total yards, 198 rushing and 257 passing.

I know they'll enjoy it, but I think when the MUC staff gets back to work, they'll have that on their mind.
Mount knew going in WW offense was going to be a handful.  WW had advantage on size no question.
Mount's D has been playing great all year, but they don't matchup to WW's size.  More credit to Mount's D for holding off Whitewater.  I'll take the win for Number 10, thank you!  ;D
Props to McClain for the heads up play and 78 yd TD run.
Props to MVP Micheli and Kmic for everything this year.
Props to Coach Kehres and coaching staff.
Props to the whole team.
Props to all the great Mount Union fans!

So great finally having a Michigan to our Ohio State.[/b]
Be sure you don't replace LK with John Cooper! ;D
Eww ... As my pristine little sister would say, John Effin' Cooper!

No, I'm old school ... Big 2, Little 8.  I root for Michigan every week until they play against OSU.

And I'll do the same for UWW.  Great team!  Intense coach!  See you next year!
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Skunktourage reporting in.......WOW WOW WOW WOW!

What a frickin' game!  It went from being "no way WW could stop our offense", to "WW is GOUGING our defense over and over", to WHAT THE FR#$%^& IS WRONG WITH THE CLOCK AND REFS ??? >:(

It's great to witness Mount getting #10, and I will say right here, right now, WW will be SCARY next year.

88 yards for Nate......WW didn't miss a tackle all day.

These two teams this year are light years above any other team.

Props to the Stone Station crew, and to Mt. Fan for the awesome breakfast.  Great biscuits and gravy.

Next year is going to be fun seeing how Mount fills those two skill positions.  Rumor is there is a certain Louisville HS QB that is on the Raider radar.

Just got back from the HoJo after the game.  Second half seemed real conservative for the Raiders on both sides of the ball.  Will have to wait to get home to see the game on TV, but was really surprised how much cushion the CBs were giving UWW receivers.  Almost seemed that MTU was content on playing it safe the second half.

Most exciting play of the 2nd half was the Pick Six.  That was right in front of us and #3 for UWW thought the pass was incomplete, gave up on the ball and #32 ran right by him on the way to the TD.

Weather was nice, even for a transplant-Floridian.

End of the Micheli/Kmic era.  Was such a joy watching them the past four years.  Well earned victory with so many new faces on both sides of the ball this year.

Time to go on another run of Championships!

It was an emotional 4th 1/4 for me :'(  God Bless all of you that gave us so much joy with friendship and stability ;)

WOW ten rings!    Great game, great weather,  blind officials,  who could ask for anything more.   Mt. beat a team that was very impressive.  Leipold brings  an intensity that WW sorely needed.  Mt.  according to d3 hung on for the win,   I prefer to think they wanted a closer game in terms of score?  I guess it doesn't matter a win is a win.  Storybook ending for Micheli and Kmic.   This will be a most memorable team  for the ten.     I will always remember the ten and their season.   Sweatervest eat your heart out.    great game plan by LK.   Our defense played their hearts out against superior forces in size and talent.  WW won the battle of special teams and their QB was impressive as well.  Long live the ten.      Bushman over and out until next football season and the 11th?

Congratulations to Larry, Vince and the rest of the Mount Union program!  What an unbelievable accomplishment.  Greg's performance today was truly indicative of the Gagliardi Trophy winner.

On behalf of those of us from the MIAC, please accept our apologies for the officiating crew.....this group of clowns was out of position all day, had no control of the clock and called some phantom flags against your squad; ie the personal foul called by the Side Judge on the WW sideline.  This group was not worthy of the Stagg Bowl.

Aaron Rusch, #3, should get a MUC MVP nod for his heads-up play on the pass off of his fingers.  Whoops, upon further review, make that heads-down play on McClain's interception.

Things go better with Coke, nail biters go better with W's.  All's well that ends well.

I wouldn't give anything to WW #3. Its one thing to play tough, but constantly getting in cheap shots after the whistle was pathetic.

Loved the game. With the exception of #3, it was a very good game.  Safe travels to everyone making the trip back home!

raiderpa

congrats to Mount....Kmic feels vindicated, although he need not...
what a strong UWW team...wow...some real physicality out there...
Defense was exposed, but hung tough all day...UWW may have outgained the Raiders....

raiderpa

was it just me,  or did UWW waste a lot of time on their final possession?  I thought they were playing like there was a 5th quarter.  The way their D was playing the chances of getting the ball back  for a final drive attempt with ample time was a real possibility.

In time, the thoughts of PRaider fans will turn to #11.

Of course Mount can't be first to #11. Michigan and Notre Dame have been there and done that:
