Have to admit, its pretty enjoyable when someone can rip themselves apart as well as the Curtain did.

Ahhhhhh....it's all making sense now.......
QuoteSince I've proved my point beyond question, I'm leaving, heading west, to the oldest winning streak in the history of college football

Could that possibly be a reference to the mighty and magic Linfield College regular season "winning streak"?

Yah..hang your hat on that one you Steeler loser.....and YAH.....I AM a frickin' bitter BROWNS fan.......what of it ??? 8)

All you old time posters..........where does STEEL CURTAIN rank among posters? sub Doeder maybe? Or was Doeder a dynastic poster? If I have to apologize to someone later should I apologize to Steel or Doeder?   And they say OAC fans are crazy!

seventiesraider

Everything I ever believed about die hard Steeler Fans.....and less. >:(
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

reality check

Doeder was funny.  Funny like a clown.  He amused me.

Steel Curtain is not funny.  Just a clown.  He does not amuse me.

Alright, our aura is realigned--we are back to talking about doeder--maybe we can throw in a few comments about thundermom as well!

Good riddance to steel curtain--and no harm, no foul as far as I am concerned with the regular posters on this board--not that my opinion really counts for anything!

;D ;D
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

How often do you see the Steelers and the Purple Raiders in the same article:

Steelers Go Soft To Win Big With Graphware Software

Yup, 4 more super bowls and they will tie MUC for championships......just wanted to keep it in perspective.

Geeez, I go out of town on business for a couple of days and return to 4 pages of conversation (you would think it was October).  Sorry to create such a stir, and to bring in an outsider (Steel Curtain) feeling that he needed to defend the honor of his beloved Steelers.  I was simply stating that while the Steelers may be viewed as the pre-imminent team in the NFL, they still have a ways to go to equal MUC's success in Div. III.  You're right, it's apples to oranges, but still shows how dominating Mount has been in their arena.  My apologies.

No apologies needed!  It added some spice to the lull of February.

Apparently the Defensive Coordinator at B-W has been named the first-ever head coach at Notre Dame College.....

According to the article, they aren't beginning competition until the fall of 2010.  This could be a great recruiting tool....."son, you come here and we guarantee you a date to the homecoming dance."

NDC has been aggressively marketing their new varsity sports via billboards, online, etc...  Since they are marketing "scholarship varsity sports" I assume they are NAIA?  D-II?
