I keep watching the webcast for DePauw/Bash but got back on the ONU game long enough to hear them score another TD.

ONU leads 44-7 over Etta halfway through the third.

Back to Bash/DePauw...

I can't say "I told you so" about the MUC/BERG game because, well, it's MUC vs. the Berg.  But do you believe the clinch is still in doubt?

Mr. Ypsi

jdean,

Since hsschool coach set the line on pickems at 56.5 (and I picked MUC anyway), I hope they don't 'ease up' TOO much!

I broadcast a volleyball game back in the day (ONU at the Berg) and my guess from what I saw then is "yes" to your question.  And you can take from that what you want.

Roll Raiders!!! But i tell ya,  Berg is simply so self-destructive, they've been in Mount territory a number of times and have blown them all!!  unbeleiveable!

Mr. Cola (RC), I never said it was in doubt at all.

I just said it wasn't clinched as of YESTERDAY.
Been wrong before.  Will be wrong again.

Wabash pulls out the win 17-14

Finally its over--63-0. Mount had 2 defensive starter injuries. One doesn't sound good and the other unknown.

yeah, Sure hope Whitfield is alright ! :-\

BW 17 JCU 14.  Doeder wins and now I can drop T2U and get back to being.... yep, you've got it... 4u!
Now, if Otterbein wins (won), I'll technically be T4U, but I'm going to stick with a sickening and painful,

Cap offense awakens and wins 48-10. Both Wilmington scores were set up by Cap misques. First score (FG) set up by an INT that gave Wil the ball at the Cap 11. Three plays later they kick.
Second score was around a 30 yard TD pass that went through a Cap defenders hands and landed in the receivers. That drive was set up by a bad punt snap that the punter decided to run on rather than kick.

Who has the better chance...Wilma to reach 110 pts this year, currently at 103 or The Berg keeping teams fewer than 610, currently at 567?

Well we have our answers now.  Wilma finishes the season with a whopping 113 points scored.  Heidelberg finishes the season allowing just 630 points on the season.  Oh wait, cufan you carried an extra one in your original math.  They came into today's game at 467.

Ott scores a TD in the 4Q to pull out a 13-9 win over Muskie.

Really sorry to see JCU couldn't finish their season off with a win. Last weeks loss wasn't a big surprise but I thought they'd bounce back this week.

Have to wonder if having virtually no opposition these past two weeks is going to have a negative impact on Mount's first playoff game. Also, the weather looks like mid 30's to 40's for next weekend--wonder how our FL end will adjust to the conditions.

Mount has had that same schedule for like the past few years, i doubt very much its a negative impact on how they'll perform in the playoffs. I do know typically that Coach K has always hated having the bye weeks simply for the fact it throws the team out of a rhythm. We'll see how things go, i think they are peaking at the right time!

Thanks for coming over to our MIAA board!  We need all the help we can get! ;)  Anyway, as I mentioned on my post there, Albion has been improving each successive week of recent.  However, while I will be rooting for them as our league's representative in the playoffs, I believe they will need a ton of more luck in the playoffs to advance than they had back in 1994 when they won the Stagg.  While any team, regardless of who they are needs (or can use) a bit of luck on occasion as they go through the DIII playoffs, again, I think it will be a tough task for Albion to pull off.  On the other hand, as we've all seen this season, anything (manythings!) can happen.  Best of luck to the OAC team(s) except against our representative if we get that far. ;)

I guess that I would prefer to have Musky and the 'Berg as competition...a full 10 game season...as opposed to Linfield's 8 game schedule.  That is 2 more games to work the kinks out..especially at the end.
