I have a considerable amount of time on my hands due to major surgery so could anyone tell me what time the spring practices are held?

Thanks!

Any one have any suggestions for working with sprinters in track? Proper form, technique, or anything else? I'm asking because I was an O-lineman and obviously never sprinted. You can PM me with any insight...it will be appreciated.

As we watched OSU blow up against Siena last night, they stopped the game late to check on a 2 or a 3 and I saw them talking to my pre-calc teacher from high school who apparently was working at the scorer's table for the tourney.  Pretty cool.  I forgot all about the game itself and rewound the video three of four times before feeling comfortable enough to say I was staring at Miss Meyers.

RC That's interesting because as they began the coverage of the Akron - Gonzoga game they panned for a closeup of an Akron cheerleader who was a student of mine and ran track as well. Nice the round of 64 gives us a little hometown feel. But of course I still look at Akron in Portland and Portland St in Boise or where ever and think, would it kill the NCAA to fly both teams to the Stagg Bowl? Of course I'm sure Mt Union brings equipment that the team that flies leaves home

With as much time as Mount spends at the Stagg they just leave everything there. Why drag it home when you'll be right back!  8) I heard they leave extra uniforms hanging in the lockers so that the kids don't have to worry about packing. ;D

Currently a lot of Wilmington Quaker gear up for auction on Ebay including team warmup jackets, a jersey or two and some equipment bags.  You too could own a Quaker football jersey.  I think you're automatically on the team if you buy and bring your own jersey!

After watching their piss poor attempt at playing defense last season, it's all starting to make sense.

Ebay?  I think that's how they advertised for a QB prior to the MUC game last year.

I thought they drew straws to see who "had to" be the QB against Mount?

apparently they were also calling on Cincinnati-area has-beens in 2008 as I got a call from them the week before they played MUC.

I have a former student who is a cheerleader at Wilmington.....all kidding aside, she told me they were advertising around campus during MUC week for "open tryouts" for the QB position due to all of their injuries.  Man, talk about "lamb to the slaughter"
