Saints....et al.......

I am on vacation in sunny but not so warm Southern California this week.  When I get back home, I will see what I can find out.  I would think it is wide open at this point, and LK will see how all options seem to pan out.

The boy and I feel so out of place here.  We don't have any boards.....either skate or surf.  I have never seen so many 30/40/50 year old surfer dudes in my life.

reality check

Josh McDaniels and crew got a sweet deal in unloading the NFL's largest toddler today.  They said publicly we want two firsts and a QB was not that important to them.  The get back two firsts, a third and a QB who's not great but at least serviceable.

The Bears really showed desperation in this move and really gave McDaniels something to work with after some big spending on defense in free agency.

Denver now has the 12th and 18th and three more picks in the next two rounds to build upon.  As bad as this whole thing was handled, McDaniels sure seems to be coming out smelling like roses in my opinion.

I agree.  Regardless of what really went on to get it to this point, the Bronco's did quite well.  Now the key is drafting well.

In my less than humble opinion, the first mistake (albeit minor) was McDaniels not coming clean with Cutler form the start.  But Cutler's crybaby attitude took a minor mistake by a young coach and made a huge mountain out of it.  Anyone in the NFL is trade bait.  For Cutler to get so pissed off that it was even considered is amazing and shows much of why the Bronco's are probably right in shipping him out of town.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

An experience in cultural diversity and values is good for us all.  Spent today at the St. Pet Gran Prix, myself, talk about a 180 degree turn in ethics and values from the Stagg Bowl in December.  It was all about being unique and getting attention there.

If you want to be a big deal in the bars, there is a 2002 National Championship ring on Ebay. Sorry even though I graduated in 2002 I would have had to have been 30 years younger and a much better wideout to have earned one of those.

Sorry if your still waiting for a Garcon card but I picked up an infection that almost took me out (not social in variety). Back on my feet and taking care of business again and got to watch my mother-in-law get sworn-in as a Muni Court Judge Friday. Now more than ever, I lose all arguments.

Anybody applying for the ONU O-Co-ordinator's job. I can't coach anybody taller than 5 foot anymore

BTW - I know Terry Pluto and he wanted to go home, having grownup on the eastside of Cleveland. The PD was always his paper. Not just a great sportswriter, but a great human being at all levels. I think Terry would be writing about LK and Mount if he was in Texas. It's the stuff good sportswriting is made of.  Don't forget we have couple friends in the TV media in Cleveland. Bruce Driennan had interviews with Larry several times during the year and Pre-Stagg. Forget about 3, 5, 8, & 19. They are strictly homers

SEVENTIES

I saw the ring on Ebay but how can that be MUC's championship ring?  The description says it's inscribed with "12-0" and MUC went 14-0 in 2002.  There's no name of a school on the ring but I don't know how you would be able to say for sure what team that ring was given to.  But I've never seen a national championship ring from MUC so I'm not an expert by any means.  It just doesn't add up to me based on what I read though.

I am checking it against my "ring" right now,, I will let you know in a minute

beenhit2hard

The top of the ring is the same,,,the side view has the same Raiders at the top,, and the score,,48-7  and seems to show the NCAA logo too,,so i would think it is legit,,,the originally went around 350.00

I am not selling mine !!!

The players name, position ,and a 4 year record of 54-1,and 3 trophy images ,,,2000,2001, and 2002 are on the other side.

Disclaimer: This comment is non-D3 related and will be of little interest outside of Stark County.

Did Jim Dennison at Walsh hand over the play calling to someone else?  I'm just trying to figure out why two DI WR (Joe Morgan, Illinois and Teddy Robb, Akron) would ever transfer to Walsh.  They completed 88 passes TOTAL in 11 games last year.  There had to be another school out there that could give them $.

Apparently I was looking at a listing for another 2002 championship ring.  Its description doesn't match the one above at all.  Now I'm curious to see the other listing I was missing out on.
