Wow!
I get -Karma for making a true statement against Mount. You guys are tough. Maybe you are pushing me towards being a Raider hater. I guess we know who moderates the the OAC board.

old scot,

Read the recent post from "desertraider" to better appreciate the "moderating" that goes on here. Just one more embarassment to observe.

Someone tries to present a balanced perspective about a college football game - includes a legitimate question about MUC decision making - and the de minimis IQ crowd goes a little insane.

Balanced? Doubtful. De minimis IQ--I'd agree that your post represents that. 1-2 aint bad.

Prior to MUC's night game with Musky will Mount have any pre-game meal set-up simliar to the day game brunch?

Old scot - The intent of your post may have been misinterpreted as a spiteful dig, but I see it as a statement of the number of great players who did not have great games against the Purple Raiders.  The number of players who have been shut down and their teams subsequently defeated by MUC over the past 15 years greatly outnumbers those who have.  I'll never forget Blake Elliott's effort in the '03 Stagg Bowl.  He was great, and SJU deserved their victory.  Beaver was productive in '08, but to me the UWW defense was the story of that game.  The number of great games against MUC in big games is far outnumbered by average or less performances.
Well said, sbs.
Blake Elliott was a player.  He put the team on his back and ran to victory (slightly metaphorical).

I watched Blake play that whole year and in the Stagg. He was a special guy on a mission, most of which did not have to do with football. Great guy out of football too, I get to see him a couple of times a year.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

More embarrassing is your spelling of embarrassment.  Misspellings not withstanding, aren't you the guy who comes in every year Mount wins a national title and says that they should move up to DII (because changing your entire athletic/academic philosophy is a reasonable response to having a really good football team)?  That's why you don't get karma, since you seem to care about it.

Carry on, folks.  Carry on.

The iRaider site on campus says that a pre-game buffet will be served from 4-6pm with the cost being $9 for adults and all others $5.75 (I think those prices are right).

Congratulations to Trinity Bible College, this weeks 239th best DIII football team.

OldeScotty-Guarantee that if I even post a smiley face on the NCAC board my karma will tumble.

DIIDIII Poser- While I will defend your right to say it to the death, your wrong. Move on

Raider 68

It would to great to see a relatively full stadium for the Raiders first home game. Homecoming against B-W should be good.

Not sure if the home games at night draw more or less than day games?
I sure someone has the stats already!

I know I have conflict for both night games including a youth football night game at 6:00 this week. May still do the second half since it's a twenty minute drive. Gonna be on campus all day for homecoming stuff and off to announce a band show in the evening.

Sunday nights would work much better  ::)

Does that include beer?

But what will happen to the MUCaw and the Run-a-MUC?

PurpleSuit

i'd be against the change.  If they want to add a grad program, thats great, but why not keep the name the same?

i mean, we'd have to change the alma mater and whatnot
