Now we are watching a video on Fidel Castro.  I love my job, but I hate 90 minute blocks. I am not a good enough teacher to teach 90 minutes.

I don't think that a show with Girard and I would work very well. However I propose his show at 9:00 followed by mine at 9:30.  You guys have no idea how funny the people I hang out with down here are.  It is pure comic gold.

A story involving a bathrobe may be true, but I can't recall it completely, though.

I guess I am a hypocrite adding to the non-football talk.

I think Cap's defense shuts down NCC but the Cap offense can't be stopped.

Anybody can teach for 90 minutes, but given the attention span of the average 14 year old is 11 minutes with a good breakfast, I am extremely grateful to have them in gym. And now that dodgeball is popular again, I occaisionally get to throw things at them as well.

Cap guys... can I be a Cap fan and a Steeler fan as well???  Don't ask how I grew up in the Canton area and became a Steeler fan... I just did.  Jack Lambert was my hero growing up (I wore #58 until I got to Cap).  I think it was because Lambert had a football camp at Mount Union many years ago when I was a kid...

Anyway, I agree with you all.  I like Cap's chances in the greater Chicagoland area this weekend.  The D looked really good against JCU when I was up there a few weeks ago, and O'Reilly has become a pretty good little back.  I don't know if anyone can match up with Howes and Kraft.  How tall are those two? 6-2, 6-3 or so???  That's pretty rare at our level, and I don't think NCC has really seen anything like that.

I don't think I am going to make it up there to see the game this weekend either due to previous commitments (army formal dinner).  If they play in IN the next week though, I hopefully will find my way there.

90 minutes???  I have one class (T-Th) that is 50, but my Wednesday class is 110.  Try teaching that long, especially with Army stuff...  Believe me, that is a challenge, and I have no teaching experience before this assignment... I was a freaking Poli Sci major.  Wednesday itself is an Arse-kicker.  I have Physical Training in the Morning at 6:20 am (so I get up around 5 am), that long a$$ class, "Leadership lab" and then a meeting afterward.  I usually don't get home until around 8 pm.  Hell, even when I was deployed to the middle east I only worked maximum 12 hour days.

The moral is... Someone always has it worse than you, so stop your bitchin

 For years I was a Data Processing Manager and then one morning I was an Information Services Director.
For years it was a school and now it's a community learning center, but you walk in the Gym, you find the Gym Teacher. You gotta go to college to get physically educated.
Now, anybody messes with the term coach, and I'm going postal.

Sorry..  Don't know much about North Central but I expect a low scoring game with Cap's D and below average weather..  Don't expect it to be a beautiful day in Chicago in late November...

I know that North Central is a very good team from an excellant conference and that they matchup strength to strength with Cap. I have been quietly amazed at the number of you guys not going to Chicago because this is anybody's game and I don't think next week is a given. I hope I'm wrong, but  NC has a lot of tools and may just be too much for Capital. I just don't think Cap will be able to score enough to stay with NC's high powered O. My call is NC by 13

I don't think that you're wrong.  North Central does have "a lot of tools", but Capital seems to have a lot of the same caliber of tools on defense.  We anticipate what should be the best game in the entire opening round.  This game is a toss-up on paper but I'll give us the edge at home.  I hope both teams bring their best games and we see a classic.  Nobody is really talking about the Capital O or the North Central D.  These are probably the keys more so than the perceived strengths.
