CarrollStreaks-

Let me first say that I don't know who you are or how old you are, hell...you could be older than me.  I'll give you some advice anyway.  This is an instance where you should've just let things go.  Your little pissing contest (honestly, you were arguing about teams from 10 years ago trying to make some inane point) with RC was buried a few pages back.

If you look at the oldest posts on this board, you can see that I have had my share of arguments with some folks...including RC.  Some of those I would chalk up to youthful indiscretion, some I would still make today.  Even in my most heated and sometimes most regrettable arguments, however, I've never (seriously) gone to the "institutional deficiencies" card.  "My school is better than your school."  Really?  That's what a Carroll man is reduced to?  You come off looking like a pompous jerk, and it's unfortunate that you and I are associated with the same university.

If CarrollStreaks posts on the OAC board and no-one reads it or responds to it, does it make a sound?   ???

Checking history on mtunionfootball.com I noticed an amazing stat:

In four games Mount Union and W & J have played together, here are the point totals:

Mount Union      2
W & J             88

Hopefully, the Raiders can close the gap a little on those numbers this week.

The Raider game plan back then included no offense. WOW! only a safety after 4 games!

I can just see him (her) now....typing with a big grin, looking into the mirror admiring himself.

You better damn well know what you are talking about before you call someone a liar. People that have been on this board since it's infancy are aware that when Pat revamped the website, that some data such as post information was lost. I know some "veteran" posters information disappeared in that transition. I don't know if that is the case with RC or not. Also a lot of people read these boards, some for a long time before making any post, obviously not in your case. I do not comment very often, but I read many of the boards on this site daily.  Your dialogue has prompted me to let you know I don't like you or your attitude.

Skunk!!  Wow... a post from you.  How are you?  We are hoping for a TMC/MUC Semifinal in Alliance ---- would you and sidekick and the others be up for meeting me at that Wings place?  Hypothetically of course --- we have three games to win first.

Fellas,

There is one very big thing about Carroll Streaks that I really respect ---- he's obviously a graduate of hscoach's quoting class.  That post was perfectly quoted.

They definitely lost posts on the boards when D3football.com made the switch to this new board.  Pat came on here and explained what was going on.

For example:

I graduated CJ in 99.  My parents live in Harrison Township and I have plenty of freinds in Englewood/Clayton.  My wife's cousin was a Miamisburg guy (Billy Updyke).  Maybe you know the name?

I played one year at ONU during that 1999 season.  I completely destroyed my knee in late October thanks to a freak collision with Kendall Knight.  Needless to say, I lost.  I stuck around and helped film a little as a soph while I rehabbed but I decided my football days were over.  I was recruited as a long-snapper and came to ONU to learn to be an outside backer after spending 4 years at CJ as an undersized OL.  I was in the same freshman linebacker class as Brad Lohr and Kurt Hartman (who were both seeing significant minutes and outplaying upperclassmen as freshmen).  I decided to move to the radio booth and worked for WONB for three years in the sports dept covering primarily basketball and volleyball.  I was also highly involved at the admissions office, the Freed Center and as an overnight host on campus.

I was at the Heidelberg game this year and saw you guys play.  I am very proud of where the program sits under Coach Paul.  He gave us our second tour of the football facilities after we made our way down to the field for post-game.  You know this already but you've got some amazing facilities and a great coaching staff.  I'm proud of being a small piece in the 11-2 1999 team but I would love to play today at Dial-Roberson under your coaches.

Congrats again on a great career in the trenches at ONU.

They give actual degrees at CJ??

I didn't know that about your knee.   The great thing about Coach Paul is that he treated us as if we had been great players under him that day.  I didn't even play at ONU, obviously..  started 4 games for him my 5th year before an injury ended it.  IMO, THATS why players love to play for him.  Mike Hallett is the same way.   ONU and HC are both in good hands..

Too bad Bobby Swallow (West Branch Grad) isn't QBing for W&J anymore. It would be a pretty cool homecoming for him to play in Alliance.

As a West Branch grad myself who got to play at Mt. Union Stadium three times, I can tell you it is definitely NOT a "cool homecoming."

Unless you are talking about the potential Alliance late-november weather.

I am doing very well thanks for asking, after all this is my favorite time of year. Hopefully both of our teams can take care of business and meet in the semi-finals. It would be alot of fun. Sidekick, HURF and myself were just talking about our Friday night meeting of the "Football Junkies" at the Wing Warehouse at last weeks game. We will be all for it. Hopefully we will  have the pleasure of  HScoach, the aprof, Hurf, Mt. Fan and perhaps another guest appearance of the one and only Ric (who has kept us all so well informed with his great website). Maybe we will be fortunate enough to experience an upgrade in the local talent.

Dude, day one was nearly ten years ago for me.  I've been here for a decade and seen a dozen JCU fans come and go.  I'm sure I'll see you off as well.  You've come in here and known more about anything than everyone since your own day one.

Of course I was talking about my first day here.  I'm not going to bother reading your (not ten years, liar, but six years of) posts from before I arrived.

Hi. Just because this particular board software has only been around since 2005 doesn't mean squat. We've had a message board since 1999, but we didn't have the storage space to keep copies of posts all that time.

Nice... I EXPECT an upgrade in the talent level @ Wings Warehouse ---- we were the class of that place last year.

Good to hear things are well.   Hopefully I'll be seeing you guys within the next month.

I'll be there--if we make it that far (don't want to sound too cocky--I might set off another tirade by Carrollstreaks)

By the way, I too will eat my words about Rocco's ability to lead the team--I was wrong.

CarrollStreaks's post:

I graduated from Mount Union.  I couldn't read his post.  It had too many words in it.

Tip to posters:

Some of us Mount grads usually don't attempt to read posts with so many words.  If you're gonna use a lot of words, at least break it up a bit with some pictures or stick figures!
