FYI-There will be streaming live computer broadcast of the UMHB vs Linfield game. Given the time difference, most of us should be home in time to watch. I'd suggest updating your Quicktime if you haven't recently.(Free)

I was in the new Akron U stadium last Saturday for the playoff game. The reported attendance was 13 thousand. It holds 27 thousand or so. At half capacity there was still no place to park. Just as there was no place to park when I went there in the 70s. Go figure! ;)

I went there as well and know exactly what you mean! Was at game last saturday night too, first time in the new stadium! Simply incredible transformation from a few run down rentals and a parking lot. It would be a sad shame not to bring the football program up to the level the stadium now demostrates! Simply an awesome setting for the OHSAA playoffs as well!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Tomorrow is my Christmas...nothing better than turkey, stuffing and some pumpkin pie.  Can't wait.  And between the football tomorrow, the HS playoffs on TV Friday and college games on Saturday it's going to be a great weekend as well.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are so blessed and have much to be thankful for. Whether this has been a really hard year or a great year, we all can be thankful for:

1. Our Freedom
2. Men and women who put their lives on the line to defend it.
3. Hopefully much, much more.

Happy Thanksgiving OAC fans!

LK has it better at MUC than he would at Notre Dame.. And Jerry Faust is the worse hire in their history.

Not that it matter much, but it's Gerry Faust with a G.

Coach Faust is still a loyal ND fan, despite his coaching record there.  He shows up at functions still today.  He's a great guy and was an extremely successful high school coach.  He won at least 5 state titles and a few national titles too.
Heck, Charlie Weis won one state title as a New Jersey high school coach.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!   ;D

Found this on W & J's interest in joining NCAC:

Plus, W & J received their Phi Beta Kappa charter in 1937, so there's no problem there!  :-*
